I do personally think this is the year a lot of people leave the sphere because Phil as a cow just becomes really boring. Though this has been one of his most active years and "entertaining", it has also been his worst because some weeks honestly felt like months and the pre-stream has become horrible, you have to restream it honestly else it becomes a case of survival. I think Phil's core audience of LARPERs and support are going to realize there are far more entertaining cows out there, Jim's 2025 was a banger and personally this year I have looked into a lot of more niche cows and been surprised.

I don't think the King Arc will continue, nor do I think there will be another like it, ever. This is a feeling I get from following the KC thread for a couple months (the vegas paypig orgy scandal ruined their gimmick). Recall that the King Arc happened in confluence with the Joon Doc and Piggy revealing he was DFTR, which was basically like the end of the Scooby Doo episode where the villain says "If'n it weren't for you meddling kids!"

Everyone likes a mystery, but what new mysteries could be revealed that won't get him in trouble irl? If he films his garage cat shit mountain or rotted out bathroom wall, someone will just send it to his condo association (which i wouldn't do and I think is dumb, but I know someone will) and he'll be fucked. If he pity begs deceptively for Kat's phantom diabetes (or some other kind of sob-story spun-yarn) I feel like that would bring Sir Moist/Metokur out again to laugh at him, and he doesn't want that. Metokur came out of his cryogenic chamber to shit all over boogie for faking cancer. What's DSP gonna do, show his wife's medical papers on stream to prove it?!

That being said, will the legacy whales take up the slack? Maybe, who knows. They might have to dip into their TRT and Incest themed Hentai (Haseo, ahem) funds though, anything for the abusive bad e-Dad simulator.

Anyone with notoriety will attract enough niche attention to survive. Phil is essentially in his Cameo phase. I really think after this it’s leaning on government disability checks for eternity for his broken back, or a team lead position at a call center nearby.

Pardon the power level, but I managed a cinema while student teaching. While being responsible for a whole building and staff, five nights of the week. Handling paper work, interviews, and the movies themselves, I found juuuuust enough time to grade a bunch of papers, write up lessons, do my other homework, read books, and get in the odd game of Magic with my GM.

Like the only people I ever fired were not showing up, actively avoiding doing work, and like one person I found out was stealing shit. Like if he actually got fired, that is kind of impressive. That is a peak "cut your hours until you quit" job.

You can not induct low functioning DSP as a lolcow emeritus without also doing the same for high functional CWC in the same class, so I don't really have a problem with exiling Phil as a voting block in the Mooby race, you can't really argue he did not earn this with his legacy of failure.

The King Arc is already OOOOOOOVER, buddeh! The change in the KC thread is also insane, just before and during the KANG arc it was basically a fan thread with a few people shitting on them every once in a while and now it's pretty much a mirror image of this subforum - people laughing about The Lard and The Tard's sordid history, their failings, pocketwatching their streams and doxing their mentally ill paypigs. More proof that DSP is the Human Sonichu Medallion and that you're best off staying away from doing biznis with The Guy.

Regarding whether this Season is the final one - doubt it. The decline will continue and barring a miracle like this year with the whole KANG arc it's just gonna be more of the same slow progressive decline that he's been on for more than a decade at this point. Thing is, he's a fucking master at attracting sad individuals or reattracting old whales to whale out on him. He doesn't have that many expenses, YES I KNOW WHAT I SAID but hear me out. He doesn't spend his money on blow or travelling or fast cars and loose women, just on sweaty men jpegs and DoorDash, it's not like he's living a life of luxury, it's a life of luxury only to trailer trash. He's always gonna have a safety net. Barring some actual disaster like a health crisis or his khando's disrepair affecting a neighbor which will cause the HoA to ream his ass I doubt we'll reach the actual finale of the DownSyndromePhil show.

I'd need to see a comparison to 2022-23, because unless I'm reading the tips tracker sheet wrong, this year has been one of his best in recent memory.

Yeah, the casino colab brought in a bunch of cash and that's slowly going away, but there's always new dent blood that keeps piggy afloat year after year and I doubt '25 will be much different.

I don’t think he’ll drop off soon but December always distorts things because ‘Tis the season of giving’, We’ll see a base level in Jan and Feb.

We wouldn’t have gotten that ‘I could have saved the world if I wasn’t trolled!’ breakdown a few years ago. That was the sign of a really bad mental state he’s currently in.
The ‘eat it’ rant was pretty unhinged too and the difference recently is how easily he was broke and sent into it. A single comment and he totally lost his mind .

Phil hasn't changed. He is in fact incapable of change. The only reason why some would say that he is/has changed is due to his reacting to temporary anxiety/anger/frustration from some form of external pressure that they haven't witnessed from him before or only to a smaller degree.

If you go back far enough you will realize that the Philbert you see today is the same Philbert that was making shitty videos in his condo with a camera pointed at the screen. The only thing that has really changed is he has changed one condo...for another condo.

You might be under the illusion that he has changed due to his censoring himself and his attempts to pignotize everyone, 'I've changed, I'm not the same guy as I was X+1 years ago' but if you scrape just a little bit of grease off his surface you'll find all the same shitty jokes, 'commentary', and opinions.
