If you're on mobile there's a glitch where comment replies don't show up that happened to me a few weeks ago and I had to uninstall and reinstall YouTube to fix it. But I checked and you're not missing much anyway, it's all cringe.

I was watching him for a long time (way before 2016) before he even met anisa. People say "all he did was say SLEURS" but I don't think that's true, he was a clown in the positive sense of the word, he did completely absurdist humor and didn't care how he was perceived or what people thought of him which is what made him fun to watch.

Honestly it wasn't even about being offensive on purpose, it was about irreverently doing whatever he wanted on his own without caring if people would make fun of or get angry at him for it.

Stuff like the cake trilogy for example. Its not offensive, its just gross, but that's the charm, "I'm gonna do something absurd and retarded because I think its funny, and I don't care if people think I'm stupid for doing it."

Or another example, eating fishsticks and pickes and shit naked in a sewer storm drain.


In part, what made him so fun to watch was that he essentially had ironclad skin despite constantly feeding people ammo to make fun of him and despite all their attempts nothing would stick, he was more or less a stoic (although from the Diogenes school of stoicism).

Then he lost the thick skin, he lost the irreverence, started caring if people made fun of him or mocked him, started self censoring, and turned into, for lack of a better word, a wimpering cuck.

You could remove "niggerfaggot" from his OG repertoire and it would still be insanely succesful, because "MUH SLEURS" weren't the reason he was a succesful and they weren't even present in 99% of his videos, it was his confidence.

Well he was around during a time of 'edgelord' humor's prominence, so whatever nuance he did have in his videos was kind of underappreciated, and people (ian included) have often only shed light on the catchphrases and the more brutal parts of his personality in hindsight. If he didn't make such a spectacle of himself trying to 'find empathy' at 30, maybe people would have looked at his old videos in a different lens away from the slurs, but i can't see it having much longevity past 2018 either.

Political Idubbz is the worst Idubbz. He hyped up the abortion vid and I was expecting a clumsy "clump of cells" style argument where he tries to disprove the abortion is murder argument. It's just him raging at 10 sec clips of Kirk and Shapiro. So lazy and uninteresting, like pushing on an open door by breadtube standards. Also, the fact he was angered and confused by the fact Megan Kelly has different views on abortions than other conservatives but respects the pro-life position to me shows how cut off he is from people outside his bubble. "You say you support one thing, but understand and respect people who disagree? WTF?"

I have my problems with Fuentes, but I am not about to pretend he's a bad debater. Ian on the other hand is a low-energy, passive-aggressive cuck that spouts the most basic bitch leftist talking points. Fuentes would wipe the fucking floor with him.

What happened in his personal life to prompt this? Nobody wants this. Noone currs. The takes are freshman debate class tier. If I didn't know them I'd assume this was a pivot to political commentary but they can't stick to shit.
