Multiple people have allegedly been killed after a vehicle ploughed through a crowd of revellers on New Orleans' famous Bourbon Street in the US, according to local media and eyewitnesses.

New Orleans Police Department said that a lorry may have run down the group on the street, which is in the Louisiana city's French Quarter.

Witnesses speaking to CBS News claimed that a vehicle crashed into a crowd at high speed, and then the driver got out and started firing a weapon, with police returning fire.

It was unknown how many people have been killed or injured, but unconfirmed reports on social media claimed it is a "mass casualty" incident.

The incident allegedly occurred around 3.15am local time at the intersection of Bourbon Street and Iberville.

In a post on X, a journalist at local news outlet WGNO-TV wrote: "NOPD source states that as many as 10 fatalities after driver in pickup truck plowed into crowd on Bourbon Street.

"Multiple more injuries. Mayor and police chief on scene," he added, though this has not yet been confirmed.

That is truly fucking insane luck. If she had been any slower, she would've been pasted.

That seems to be possible, although I wonder if the co-conspirators also had planned a sequence of bombing. They said that they were planted around the city. What's the range on a typical IED? I'm not a jihadi terrorist so I've got no idea, but I can't imagine a homemade device has that large of a radius?
Remote detonators can be simple cell phones with basically limitless range. The guy did a tour in Afghanistan too.

My current skitzo theory is
  • Sandnigger got converted after getting 2 divorces (SAD!) and becoming an alcoholic
  • Got radicalized by Nation of Islam niggas and was already in a faggy left leaning family based on father's FB likes
  • Planned to bomb NOLA because it's everything that sandniggers hate (should've ran through a goat farm or something)
  • The bombing failed because he got stopped by the state trooper
  • He knew he had limited time so he said "fuck it we ball" and the electric truck goes vroooooom

Sandnigger's house got raided by SWAT

I searched through the highlights and I didn't see this video posted yet

The lady didn't see the truck coming, but she would've survived had she run to the side instead of forward. At the same time, she had to have heard someone warning her about the truck or hearing the car accelerating towards her.

Considering the time and place there is a possibility she was inebriated and that may of impaired her thinking in the split-second she had the choice to get out of the way.

Highly doubt there was anything to do with NOI, pretty sure isis considers NOI takfiris and would kill them, and he had an isis flag(upside down however lmao)
One of the groups that his dad likes posts about the NOI founder on their evidence. It doesn't exactly mean that, but it also doesn't mean it's ruled out

I meant signal radius. Wasn't McVeigh like down the block of the FBI building?

Interesting, so there isn't a hard-fast "signal limit" and could theoretically be set off anywhere?
If you're doing straight up radio, there's a range and it's line of sight and a bit of power and you're probably good. Line of sight is key with most radio.

If you slap a cell phone in there and can wire up the data part of it for control, it's line of sight... to a cell phone tower. Then you could do it from anywhere.

all that means is his father probably is a hotep and he might've been raised as one. Still makes no sense to be radicalized as a hotep and brandish an isis flag, he probably became some salafi retard partway thru life

Line of sight is key if you want to trigger it with IR or something. A standard marching radio can transmit and receive at a few kilometers' distance without line of sight. But since you'll be attacking targets in a developed area, the cellular network solution is superior in just about every aspect.

If you wanted to totally nerd out you could use shortwave and trigger it with moon bounce or some shit.

But the ham radio autists would have you triangulated before the blast even stopped echoing. Cell phones or other Internet options are the standard way to go.

Yes. In urban environments you'll get some bouncing around and things. It will reduce range and there's more of a hard limit from curvature of the earth blah blah.

It's horses for courses. Urban the cell phone solution is way better. It's also less detectable in the 'noise' of a zillion phones. Over in the sandbox it was often radio because, well, what cell network.
