So Nick owes the bank the $316k + fees + interest (unless that's factored in already) to clear off the mortgage.

He'll sell the second house and take care of that, but it's still funny that the banks cucking him out of almost the entire profits of the second home.

This is some DSP tier property management, where a cow sits on a second property eating the costs forever until finally getting rid of it in a way that provides zero net benefit (besides in DPS's case not paying the mortgage).

Like Nick could have either continued to rent the property for passive income or sold it outright for cash in a scenario where he wasn't saving his own home and been better off. The bank got free money and Nick still lost a house paying them.

I don't think this does more than stave off more of Nick's spiral, he has a ton of expenses and no ability to change his lifestyle habits. Ending up mortgage free again just means he's back to square one, no money and no real income besides the trust, which clearly isn't covering his expenses.

Its only a matter of time before he ends up with another mortgage or drowning in credit card debt (see: DSP). I don't think Nick can survive a bankruptcy arc though, I think he'll kill himself once he gets properly foreclosed/can't kite credit.

At what point does he demand Kayla start working to help cover the bills and she divorces him for emotional abuse over being 'forced' to work 30 hours a week.

Alright what shitcoin did he dump his money in
B@LD0$ Raging to the market in late 2022 like a limp dicks of the first season of Game of thrones.. Petered out in bad meth math and CFO embezzling the AI generated token base off the random patterns made by APE throwing shit on the wall.. Where it was revealed that the cypher 🔑 is the crap that stuck to the wall after feeding the Apes huge piles of Cocaine and was not AI generated at all.. Causing it to Flamed out early 2024. Faster then a Flaming Moes from the Simpsons.

If this happened it would be a truly ridiculous last straw.

As part of the Nick - DSP arc comparison, all it took for Leanna to finally leave Phil was starting to work a real job and getting out of the house more.

If Kayla has to go work some menial job and then come back to deal with Nick's shit she'll leave him way quicker than when she can sit at home all day ignoring him and larping as trad housewife.

Has anyone considered the possibility that Nig has hundreds of thousands, if not millions, stashed away and simply let his mortgage go to default so he could pay off his entire balance the day before the auction and epically own the farms, in a rope a dope rug pull of the ages?

It's my understanding that Phil was completely underwater on the condo he abandoned, either due to the housing market crash of 2012 putting his condo value below his remaining mortgage amount or due to possible internal damage (recent streams have talked about such severe disrepair in 2 of his 3 bathrooms that they might be mold farms) from neglect/misuse or some combination of the two. Wow that was a hell of a run-on sentence. Phil let his condo go to default because he would have had gone out of pocket to close if I'm not mistaken. There are many reasons why this was a bad decision. Even subletting it at a loss would have been infinitely better, to maintain the asset until it had positive value again and, in the event it was in severe disrepair, provide impetus to repair anything neglected/damaged/misused. I don't mean to goutguard, but if he was in a position where he would have needed cash to close (2012 crash not being his fault) or if internal disrepair was a factor (entirely his fault), it might have been his best move at the time given the blunders that preceded it.

Poor Kayla. She could've gotten so much money, maybe a house in the divorce.

That sure worked out conveniently well for Nick, and his parents. I know nothing of property, finance-dividing nor spousal/child support. Am I wrong to be suspicious here? Could Nick's parents have advised him to let the house foreclose?

Also: Remember Nick's black eye in his mugshot, theorized by most to be from Kayla? If they go to court, he's going to paint her as the abuser, physically and mentally. This, I'm sure of.

He'll actually use the Balldoberanzan Defense!
Would be a clever idea but he's too wet brained for that. And you can tell he is too wet brained because he no longer is a lawyer because of his retarded laziness. He lost that license and it wont be easy to get back.
Kayla still has her DS9 and her pills so she isn't going anywhere. She is content on her couch in front of the TV.

Although she may not have that much more soon....

>Been quiet on the Balldo front for a while.
>Decide to take a break from the Farms for a few days.
>Hit F5.
Sheeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiit.
Legitimately thought it would be a quiet few weeks before his trial.
NOPE.

He'll sell the second house and take care of that,
I am praying that the libel case ends and they seize the funds to pay back the loan and take a good chunk of it to monte and his lawyer's fees. And LORD let those fees be excessive.

This clip from February 2022 may explain Nick's thinking for taking the mortgage

I just want to say: Never take any advice from Nick Rekieta about any subject. Law, finance and relationship advice included
yeah, baby's first hair-brained attempt at leverage investing makes a lot of sense as an explanation---it makes much more sense than a mystery "need" for money like the trust fund drying up or a medical expense.

he probably just learned about leverage investing and believed he was rich/smart enough to pull it off but instead put all the cash up his nose and/or used it to fund his lifestyle. it's easy to imagine "setting up my investments" going the way of the 5k locals gift or 100k stream.

Now that I know how far back the surprisingly bad decisionmaking goes, I'm toying with a new theory that the first time Nick starts talking down to everyone online is whenever he first started coke.
It's hard to even find clips this far back, but I swear to God like at the very beginning of his online "career" he actually had kind of a patient and humble vibe. He passed as a -- dare I say it -- Christian. So now my headcanon is that he got into blow really early in his streaming days and he's been "handling it" for basically the whole time until last year. And by "handling it" I mean quietly ruining his life and alienating/hurting people, but not getting his house tossed by the cops at least.

Possible

But remember it was right after the dep trail he went to club hedo, he most likely had access to drugs there, and also dick is a candy man so maybe at one of their meet ups.

Nick really is like Lowtax.

He did soo much streaming cause he liked the attention the dep trail got him wine aunt attention etc.

Nick is also lazy and cant really manage things, I assume he did a rather minor cash out of equity thinking he was going build a sex room or what ever stupid dream he had but he still needed to feed the beast.

You mean an ip2 arc?
I'm not wholly convinced that it matters too much if he embarrasses himself from his studio/kitchen/hot tub/whatever or in the public eye. Whether he's embarassing himself before 700 remote people or 700 remote people and 20 proximate people is that big of a difference. I understand that the ip2/irl angle is about the reactions of the public, but when his in studio content is as inane as "liquor flowing from her vagina", I'm not sure the reactions of an incredulous public would add that much to the inanity of it all.

P.S. Thank you to whoever switched his "twitch.tv" to the much more fitting "nigger" tag.

Van life arc? Rekieta uses what little money he has left to buy an RV / some kind of van and tries to get the family to come with him in it and tries to do a documentary style thing like Youtube was pushing a few years ago to try and get people to live like mobile bugs.
It'll never happen but its funny to think about Rekieta fucking it up and getting just a rusting white cargo van with a mattress in back and a bunch of empty alcohol bottles scattered around with a shitty phone to record himself.
Trying to get people to donate talking about their dead family members so he can do a sloshed toast to them from it.
