I heard the following theory on meme copium, presumably from here originally but he spelled it out well:
Nick may have been cut off from the trust fund once his YouTube money started rolling in, and he was spending like a retard and making a fool of himself.
It could have even been a clause. if you can support yourself you don’t need the trust income.
