You're right about that, although it was the method rather than the exact type of explosive used that seemed interesting. There aren't many car bombings in the US compared to everything else, and both these attacks were supposed to be car bombings (Shahmud had a pipe bomb in the truck which he never had time to detonate).

The only recent snapshots of his account are from post-Jeetification and given the time it takes for verification to be restored is based on how fast a janny processes it, I don't think you can say definitively it did not drop off for a period of time without anyone really noticing.

quite the opposite they've probably been harrassing him to get a new contract and stay longer, plus as a Green Beret his job opportunities sky rocket once he's out. if anything the military is lucky he stayed in as long as he did, with a clearance and being special forces, he could easily get a 6 figure job just being a glorified security guard watching fucking porn all day. plus with how few people have his skill set, most HR places will work with him and negotiate anything like if he wants more money or vacation days or whatever.
