I don’t think it’s even executives. It’s just that VA work is a small pool of actors in the US and you just suck up to the big boys and girls who now run the managing company.
VA work in the US is also an incredibly incestuous industry run almost entirely on nepotism. There's a reason the exact same VAs have a role in literally every video game or dub released, and it's certainly not because they're the "good" ones. I would lean more to her being buddy-buddy with someone working on the project over her crawling under a desk, though I certainly wouldn't put that past her.
I couldn't help but notice that Meg getting older and getting less hits and sales for her work made her start to get more naked.
