His album finally dropped in 2020 to not much fanfare. It's sitting at a disappointing 2.75 out of 5 on RateYourMusic.

I have no idea how YMS could be considered an "accomplished songwriter" when he's made one album and two demos.

That makes plenty sense, far more than his "I can't review it because we're friends!" line. No one would bat an eye if he reviewed an album by a friend, but if he reviews it and talks too critically about it then Adam and his audience would have had a horrible reaction.

He says he was diagnosed with C dif in September and is still feeling the effects despite now being negative. From second hand experience of a friend's mom and a teacher who suddenly got and recovered from the infection over a decade ago, they still have tons of terrible symptoms and have to manage their diet really well to this day. Since he was infected and recovered so recently, Adam is probably still dealing with lots of new inflammation in his bowels from the infection along with a totally ruined gut flora. This is also the absolute worst time to not chew his food and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if he initially got the infection due to a lack of chewing. The stomach is at the acidity it is to kill many viruses and bacteria, but unchewed food means the middle of the clump goes untouched. He probably deposited massive colonies of viruses and bacteria directly into his intestines to fester until the inevitable happened. Also if he gets a stool replacement he would fuck it immediately if he goes back to not chewing or even just not taking advantage of the clean slate of a gut biome that prefers healthy food

Perhaps their criticisms of him are very facile and surface level, however there's really no need for him to sperg out to this degree. Also, has he ever used the phrase media literacy before? I don't recall any other examples of it, but if I'm not mistaken use of the term is an indicator of being a massive faggot, so there we are.

He did have his only notable song, Fragments, covered by an actual notable artist and I remember he used to bring that up a lot. Not so much nowadays. Fragments is also his most popular song probably because he uses/used it as his outro.

Wouldn't be surprised if he ended up triggering his sciatica that he gave himself last time he tried to rest and marathon movies back to back. Also, media literacy and being media literate is just progressive jargon for "you know how to consume media just I like do" i.e. the correct ideological way. Its weird within the context he's using it though because I think he is using it as a substitute for that other cringe term he was pushing a while back which was "media diet." He started throwing it around a lot after getting in that spat with Critical Drinker for not watching every shitty obscure indie movie that flew under the radar like how he's bitching in that tweet.
