I'm a retard that didn't even know this existed before the thread, so probably so.I genuinely wonder if new registers will be especially autistic with this gone.

How are we supposed to do it? Reactions Received is the objectively best way to navigate the website. You can see which threads are popping off in real time without being bothered by notifications when you aren't interested, and you have a really convenient way to pop back in at the point you left off, and then when you lose interest and stop posting in it the reactions die down a day or two later. Sometimes you'll even get reminded of a really funny thread you liked from four years ago.
don't kink shame meYou guys are what, in your 30s? And acting like toddlers online?
Never agree with Dynastia! It's how you get syphilis on here.God damn...you know we've hit a low point when I find myself agreeing with Dyn.
Fair. But removing features to force people to interact with the site the way he wants to be interacted with is inherently hostile to existing users. At this point I wouldn't complain if Null just rolled up sneedforo, without all the features he clearly hates and finally shot xenforo in the back of the head behind the shed like he clearly wants to do. I think that would have been a better way to kneel on the neck of the rections page too.I never look at my reactions received and manage to navigate the forum just fine through just looking at the front page and subforums and notifications that show people replying to me.
You ever hear the story of the Hl2:E2 playtester who got lost in the antlion tunnels so bad they had to change the tunnels? Everyone thought he was just a retard, but I guess the reveal was that he was trying to solve the maze by using the ol' "Put your right hand on the wall" trick and between the original textures and layout of the level it just looped around forever and he couldn't tell that it was looping. They fixed it with some changes to the maze and adding some more props so you could tell where you were.It reminds me of how game developers, even those that I admired, have no idea how their game functions at all because of how they play versus how the community plays are so vastly different from each other.
So removing a feature from the entire site because a handful of users were using a script to add a feature for themselves that 99% of the user base was unaware of (but now are) is a fair and levelheaded response. Okay.cacas ITT screeching at null thinking it'll get them what they want never cease to amaze me. You guys are what, in your 30s? And acting like toddlers online?
I’m pretty sure features exist for Josh to take them away when he needs to throw a fit or smack down the mob.
This autistic "it's not how forums are SUPPOSED to be" rant needs at least an example of what a "good" forum is, or was.Fair. this retarded thread is on its way to become my most replied to thread![]()
Antagonizing Null is wholesome because it's incredibly funny when he doubles and triples down on stupid bullshit that makes his site less fun to use.Nobody here thinks yelling at Null will get him to change his mind. The original Stickercaust was more unpopular than Obamacare, and he still kept it.

But when someone does something retarded and spergs out online, they get called a retard, simple as. This is as close to a universal ethos as this site has, and jannies aren't excepted.
I know, right?God damn...you know we've hit a low point when I find myself agreeing with Dyn.
I feel dirty....
How could you say something so autistic, yet so true?I always felt like more stats equals more fun overall. A site for autists, by autists that shuns insignificant number crunching seems counter intuitive.
Next will be a script that calculates stickers by manually checking each post you've made, then Null will go scorched earth on stickers and that'll be the end of it, I guess.
Personally I don't think it's fair. The only viable methods for navigating the site shouldn't be limited to be 'go back to using the site index like you're a defrosted caveman from the late 90's' or 'meticulously curate a list of threads even when you know they'll only hold your interest for a month or two, or end up with an unusable watchlist bigger than your spam folder'Fair.
man that's harsh why would you want null lowtaxing his brains out. not that the slug could get through all the blubber coating his skull anywayI honestly wish we'd just get to End Game at this point so all this shit and drama would be done with once and for all. We all know where it is going, we should just fucking get there at this point.
Yes, I enjoyed that too. Made me go back to old threads I posted in but lost interest in when someone randomly reacts to a post I made months ago.Reactions received was the perfect sweet spot, and the best part about it was the random old posts it'd throw up.
