I read the sample for one of his books With Teeth. Basic setup is a poor farmer needs money to pay for his daughter's college tuition and his brother tells him he has a way to make the money. The brother's plan is running meth, which he justifies by arguing that their grandpa was a bootlegger during prohibition and this isn't that different. While traveling through the middle of no where to avoid the cops they run into something far worse, something with teeth.

There’s been some back and forth on this, but I think the general consensus is that he no longer actively sells insurance, but does still get royalties when someone renews their policy.

I believe that he did renew his license a few times, but that it’s not currently active.

This makes me think, he’s occasionally bragged about getting royalty checks, always inferring that it’s about his books, but perhaps he’s just referring to the checks he gets from bilking old people out of their money? That would be a Technicality Tomlinson move.

Pat is doing what he typically does, come up with excuses. He is soap boxing on this issue fatly because AI gives him a new excuse as to why others are more successful than him. Are you a young author who is finding some success at writing? Obvious they are cheating with AI. Is Pat's postings filled with grammar and spelling issues?
