Off-Topic Transphobic Animals - Pets and other animals who sniff out frauds or react negatively to troons

I take back everything I ever said about horses being retarded. Emily the horse decided every day of her life is a round of Among Us and she just found two imposters. She must be proud of her horsey self.
Horses aren't particularly IQ smart, although they're okay for herbivores, but they have pretty high social IQ. Sort of like with a cat or a dog, if your horse doesn't trust someone, odds are good you shouldn't either.

Especially mares. They do not fuck around with things that make them feel uncomfortable, or humans that smell like a mess of abnormal hormones.

I wonder how much of dogs reacting to troons is the dogs reading the body language of everyone else (non-troon) in the room. Dogs can pick up on anxiety before people realize they feel it. The small, subconscious social cues that people give off, especially if everyone in the room is uncomfortable with the man in a dress, probably puts a dog or cat on edge. And everyone is nervous except said man in the dress? That equals Something Is Very Wrong Here in the mind of an animal.

I think this is probably it. Very much like the Clever Hans incident

Think there's been a few posts documented on the site somewhere about that. Thing is that there are pets that get misgendered when young all the time and the owners will tend to keep the original names since "Well, the animal's already accustomed to this name". We have a cat we were told was a boy because my aunt said so even though we suspected it was a girl all along, but we gave her the name "Oliver" and it's stuck. "Olive" is an okay workaround, but I think it's funny calling this girl cat "Oliver". If we had given her "Charlie" like we did her brother, we'd have still been okay with it because it could've been a nickname of "Charlotte". And another cat of ours was called "Ebony" until we found out "Oops, this is a neutered male" but had already been given the nickname of "Eb", so "Ebeneezer" he became.

So dumbasses who want to insist their pet is totally uwu trans just make themselves look more foolish for twisting themselves into pretzels for no reason.

My ex had a tortoise called Ted until we realized she was a girl (you can only really tell by the shape of the forelegs) but at that point he just stayed as 'ted' and 'he' because fuck it
Also I don't think tortoises really care about you talking to them

So my older sister who lives out of state has a Lab named Shamrock. She’s already had him a few years and we’ve gotten along really well! We’ve always had labs and they’re like big teddy bears to me, so i was very thrown off when he randomly mauled my arm this past December. it was very much out of no where and a pretty bad bite. Not just a nip, he really thrashed and tore open my arm, my sister had to pull him off as he wouldn’t stop. Ever since whenever she visits he always growls at me and i’m really like confused and sad because i’m like the biggest animal lover and idk what happened or why he hates me now 😭. Can dogs sense like a change in hormones or something? even then i’m kinda confused cuz i’m mtf so i feel like my hormones / scent would be changing in a less aggressive way (his previous owner was an abusive old man). He has no problems with my dad or brother, both are taller and extremely masculine, and no problem with my mom or sister who are both shorter than me. Transition wise i’ve had very good results I’d say i’m pretty much passing like 90% of the time. Has anyone else experienced anything like this since transitioning? Not sure if my appearance or scent / hormones could cause it? maybe he just hates me? He’s gone to training and my family all supervise and try to get him to be okay with me and he’s warmed up a bit, but just now growled and i hate it 😭 He was never like this pre-transition

And now he's met another abuser and is lashing out at his trauma/protecting his hoomans. What a moron, he's on the right track in thinking the sudden hormonal change is what's throwing the dog off, but then quickly deflects with a "But I'm not like his PREVIOUS owner!"

Dogs can sense your browser history.

This one made me chuckle…

90$ “investment” packer… Go ahead and have a good cry lil dood! Any man would and stuff!
Considering dogs are often attracted to gross smelling shit (like literal dogshit and rotten food and garbage) and knowing what I've heard about the average hygeine level of Pooners, for the dog to have dug the thing out I'm betting this gross bitch hasn't been keeping it clean and just puts it away unwashed.
I love dogs but let's face it, it's their personality that makes them endearing, because they can be fucking disgusting, it's smelled this Pooners rank, malodorous packer and dug around in her bag until its found it.

Also the commenter who suggested she try to charge the owners for a new one, I really wish I could be a fly on the wall if she tried demanding $90 because their dog chewed up her fake rubber cope dick.
