Navy SEALs, Delta Force, and SOCOM general - The most "Special" groups in the U.S. Military

this is retarded for a number of reasons. for one the SOF got handed their asses because of raghead our government propped up betrayed them to the insurgents. plenty of stories of an ODA on patrol and some afghan national purposefully gave away their position for an ambush. or in one case, afghan incompetence like driving in the dark with their headlights on because "fuck you american i do what i want."

another reason is that our door kickers were restricted by ROEs to limit bad pr.
Man it's almost like an insurgency you're trying to defeat them by making them like you more than they like the terrorists or freedom fighters.

I'm sure shooting a few more people would have totally suddenly changed the outcome of that conflict you know because the afghanis they didn't overthrow the communist government for the exact same reasons that they do the United states out you know pushing far left use feminism LGBT stuff Nah.

The only way door kicking works is if you do the Soviet method of dealing with insurgents you just shoot everyone tangentially related to the insurgency even in passing

Ryan McBeth SFC US Army (Ret) calls BS on Shawn Ryan and Sam Shoemat. Apparently Shoemat has forged emails before and this current email is a screen shoot of an email in edit mode with the red squiggly lines of a retard who can't write well. Or as they say in the intelligence community a clue.
Macbeth is a paid CIA stooge who literally works for The US government doing intelligence contracts he's also extremely stupid

that didn't work out too well in vietnam. all we did was make more vc or have people despise the us backed South vietnamese government.

It actually worked extremely effective the only reason we lost in Vietnam is because we literally had Soviet agents spreading a bunch of nonsense Co propaganda the the CIA's counterinsurgency methods of screwing with the vietcong was extremely effective.

We lost Vietnam simply due to the fact that the government with literally listening to people most likely being paid off by the Soviets

Brent finally got enough superchats asking about McPhee that he had to publicly acknowledge that McPhee was kicked out of Delta for mistreating a detainee. Hopefully the viewers will keep pressuring him to address McPhee's bullshit solo mission stories.

I wish there was a good way to force Brent into talking about this. They all probably read this thread anyway. Don't want to send him any money though. Telling a lie that you know can't be contradicted because everyone else is either dead or disabled is exactly what they are accusing Tim Kennedy of. The other thing that sucks is that the SEAL was likely only attached to Delta in the first place to backfill casualties. And once again they are more likely to get hurt or killed helping Delta than on their own operations.

Yeah, I don't trust McBeth but Shawn Ryan has shown himself to be totally unreliable as well (and ofc he's former CIA).

I think I'm going to wait until the info on the CyberTruck bombing gets a bit settled. Right now there's too much noise and maybe active disinformation in regards to motive.

It's still hard to believe people trust the shit that comes out McPhee's mouth. He's clearly a morbid drunk and a sociopath. getting kicked of Delta for torturing people.

According to Seth Harp and other sources, Military service is the single strongest individual predictor of becoming a “mass casualty offender,” So that's that, another sad L for the military. Doesn't make me one bit happy tbh.

And on another note, I wouldn't trust "Valhalla VFT". The dude who made the video about how to "not look at SOF as heroes".

In my opinion, he purposefully downplays the situation to deflect. He doesn't mention sex crimes, corruption, murder or theft in SOF, he's just like "we're important to America and some of us are the nicest guys, just maybe not good people because we kill and don't feel remorse so don't look up to us."

When he talks about Leshikar and Lavigne and the drug trafficking at Bragg, I'll drop my skepticim.

Woo the best of the best can spend 2/3 of a month in a failed state fighting illiterate pirates and warlord goons with scavenged weapons and no trainning and not suffer losses.
Step aside, men of the 101st Airborne, who froze and starved for over a month while fighting the Heer in its last shining moment in the West after dropping into Normandy on D-Day, all on very thin supply lines...these roided out rape apes fighting illiterate savages are clearly the TRUE AND HONEST example of the best the US Military can muster!

Well, when Delta operated in Somalia to capture an HVT, their Task Force got wrecked and had to bailed out by armored vehicles from the UN after losing 2 Blackhawks and 17 people. If it weren't for the Malayans and Pakistanis they would have been completely overrun and killed. The failure was so catastrophic and shameful to the military that Clinton pulled all forces from Somalia, basically ending the peacekeeping mission. So, I'm not mad about SEALs taking this W.

TBF the HVT in question had set up a pretty clever trap and used a network of informants to ensure that they'd be able to know exactly when and where they'd be coming from. It goes to show that even Somali pirates and islamists shouldn't be underestimated.

I side with the Somali pirates piracy is based in red pill plunder all of the riches of the high seas especially from international shipping companies because the subhuman who constantly outsource jobs I wouldn't even send troops to defend international shipping companies hostages that's really sad I don't care

I know very little about fighting with a sword and in armor but this video illustrates it's not like the movies and video games make it appear.
I saw a clip on IG a few months back where some guys all armored up in something like a HEMA tournament are going at it. One guy KOs the other one with a roundhouse kick to the head. I wish I could have found that before posting.

As for fair fights, I used to think fighting unfairly was for cowards. Then I grew up, saw some war, and realized that all that matters in violent physical confrontations that couldn't be otherwise avoided is winning. Dogmatic adherence to a code or a style of martial arts is a waste of time. That said, I've definitely seen guys with grappling/wrestling experience fuck people up in a street fight, even when outnumbered. One ignores learning something about that stuff at their own peril.
A little late, but I have minor autism for European martial arts so this is a chance to sperg. You'll notice these fairly accurate HEMA fights tend to turn into brutal slogs unless someone gets a very lucky hit to the head.

A bunch of people here probably already know this, but before the invention of man portable firearms by the late medieval period, armor got so good, light, and mobile, that daggers became the preferred weapon of many knights after the initial charge/skirmishes of combat. This is because a simple dagger could slip and stab through the gaps/thin spots in an opponent's plate and mail far quicker and easier than any fancy giant sword or axe. The only real exception was war picks and maces, because they could destroy the joints and intricate metalworking in an enemy's armor, basically crippling their ability to move in certain ways.

It also helped that even in relatively light plate, you'd still get exhausted in a few minutes, like in any modern combat sport/fight. A dagger is much easier to keep your grip on and keep up in that situation than a broadsword or even a shortsword. Then there's the horrific physical crush that existed in all wars until WWI really. You'd have crowds of men in the thousands pressing against each other, trying to kill or retreat in a mosh pit from hell, that made weapons you had to wind up to use properly nearly useless in pitched settings off of horseback.

Thanks to this pedigree, and their ease of use, they were adapted into bayonets with the rise of the rifle. It's no coincidence that daggers are still the preferred close quarters weapon of all armies given the above facts.

I don't watch podcasts, but because of a Sam Hyde clip that popped up in the algorithm, I went and watched the Shrek/McPhee interview; I don't even know where to start. Saying the sociopath shit out loud (not a psycho), as much as we hate the press he laughs that some guys were ready to kill them, not sure if the dust and shit being kicked up is from outgoing or incoming fire (incompetent and/or a liar), a red Toyota truck (red attracts attention, it's literally human psychology), and then he got sent out on solo missions where he took taxis and other shit, but couldn't talk well enough to get through check points and so he just acted retarded. Come the fuck on Sean, call his bluff. Most of the shit that comes out of his mouth is some variation of a lie, and pretty sure the most truthful shit is when he talks about wanting to kill people and war crimes because they're awesome. It's like if Blaha wasn't a faker; you're a credit to the unit Shrek.

Marshall Brown top row 3rd from the right
Hard to think that one of the the dudes who dress in all black with a balaclava rolled up in his head and trains everyday on how to kill better, would actually break into women's homes, put a knife to their throat and rape them. The crystal ball at the Delta psychological screening office seems to be military issued.

"You talking shit about me, you little bitch?! I'll have you know I've tortured with knives and tasers over 100 unarmed and helpless detainees and I got away with it. All while pretending to be a retard."

If anyone here has read American Spartan I'd be curious what people think of the whole story and situation with Jim Gant. I thought it was a pretty interesting book, despite being written by his wife it still talked honestly about a lot of things like the drugs and alcohol.

It's been a while since I read it, but the basic jist is Jim Gant was a green beret who decided to try a different approach with Afghanistan. He lived as they did, talked their language, and didn't disarm them (I learned Afghanistan has a bit of a 2A culture apparently). He gained a lot of respect and raised quite a communal force of tribes and tribal leaders honored him. He wrote a book of sorts about these methods and tried to get upper brass to listen to him. A journalist eventually found her way into this situation and later became his wife. Gant drank and did painkillers, brass thought he was going off the deep end with how successful he was and paid him a visit. Busted his ass for the substances among other things and were also pissed about the journalist. They basically black balled him and pulled him and his team out.

Seth Harp wanted to include him in his upcoming book "The Fort Bragg Cartel" , but apparently it was not in the theme. He had written about him a couple of colorful things.

From the same thread. Found some more SEAL Derangement Syndrome. (like lmao dude, the post is about a Delta serial rapist that the psychs apparently flagged but still was allowed in the Unit, but DEVGRU is the one who's badly policed. McPhee or Boettcher and surely others, are proof that Delta changed nothing.)
