Phallus-preserving vaginoplasty 2 years post-op​

Been a while so I figured I'd post an update on my recovery. Some of you may remember my last update from one year post-op.
Here's some handy-dandy info on my procedure. The doctor was Dr Gurjala at Align Surgical in San Francisco. I had to do 8 months of electrolysis in preparation. The canal is made from a mesh skin graft of my inverted scrotum and I have full, internal touch sensation. I was in surgery for 4 hours, was discharged from the hospital the next day and was on about 5 weeks of bedrest until I could travel back home. I can still get erect and I can cum from penile stimulation and vaginal penetration, though so far I've only been able to cum vaginally from masturbation. Nobody else has found the right angle/rhythm yet. X3
I had some complications during my recovery. Immediately after the procedure, getting to 5 dots on the 1.25" Soul Source dilator was easy and I was training up to the 1 3/8". However, after severe pain from granulation and scar strictures, I now can only get about a dot and a half on the 1 1/8" dilator and I struggle to reach the first dot on the 1.25". I have about 4" of depth and it's pretty tight. I did about a year of pelvic floor physical therapy but it didn't really help. Despite being over a year post-op, I still dilate every other day, trying to increase my girth and I'm trying to make a habit of doing recreational penetration on the off days so I can get more accustomed to enjoying it.
All in all, it took me about 14 months before I'd say I was fully recovered. This was due to the granulation and also an infection which landed me in the ER twice. I understand my recovery was a bit more difficult than most and this could be due to a multitude of factors, from being older when I started, the mesh graft technique having a greater risk of granulation, and some good, old-fashioned bad luck. Thankfully, the worst is all behind me now.
Aestheticly, I couldn't be happier. It's exactly what I wanted and reaching down to touch it still brings me immense joy. I would like to be able to take more depth and girth and I've been looking into possibly getting a canal revision and going PPT with Dr Whittenberg but that's going to boil down to if insurance can cover it and if I'll have the ability to take time off from work. Until then, I'll continue being a little more aggressive with the dilation schedule and trying to get in more recreational time. Most of my partners are bottoms but some of them throw strap and I've found that to be immensely enjoyable.

I think the centrist argument would be that minors cannot get cosmetic surgery for the same reason they cannot have sex with an adult. I think metoidioplasty is the perfect female counter-example to MTF zero-depth vaginoplasty. They both create results that resemble the real thing more than what other procedures produce.
