Hell, now I'm remembering that time my dad felt bad for an old homeless lady while on his lunch break. He bought her a sandwich from Subway, and she spat and swore at him for having the gall to give her food instead of drug money. Definitely soured his opinion of homeless people, and he had a shitty, impoverished upbringing himself. I wonder how fast Ellen would change her tune if she did run into an actual tweaker or street shitter. Or if she'd justify it with something like "It's a shame how society and the rich have pushed these poor people to such a state!"

I like how Ellen draws herself as much younger than she is, especially in contrast to her eldest daughter. It reminds me of Penny Arcade's protagonists, still drawn as perky teenagers even as they are married and have children around the same age as when they started their webcomic.

You could give a pass to Penny Arcade since it's supposed to be an exaggerated way to make vidya-based gags and commentary, but Ellen's work is presented as a more "realistic" slice-of-life take on her daily life... and as a way to live off her sexual fantasies as well. This only aggravates the many issues her comics have.

She really didn't think it through. If she didn't write about her kids, she'd be protecting them, and her porn would sell better. It'd be a win-win.

I think she never considers her kid's feelings on anything. It's all ME ME ME until she needs content for her comic.
Edit re Ellen's ass: No, I get that you're making a joke, but if her ass was good for that it would be bony. She has a flat flabby ass. It means she's a healthy weight but is sedentary.

Also the PA guys at least address that with their self-inserts from time to time, occassionally drawing comics with "Mike and Jerry" instead of "Gabe and Tycho".

Gabe's art getting shittier and shittier over the past decade however...

And I sadly don't have proof, but I think Ellen posts that two panel "wa I'm hated for wanting human rights" comic after every single political comic. She's definitely posted it at least once before. Just don't be under the impression she's so butthurt she's drawing new art to own da haterz.

I looked through about a years worth of her comic on reddit seeing if it was a repost. I didn't find an EXACT match, but it very obviously just reuses panels from this comic

I mean the millisecond her daughter and especially her son find out their mom gets off to the idea of having sex with her internet critics, posts porn and gloats about it (while also getting assmad that people look at it without paying) and their dad is an unironic cuckold I think their views of their parents are gonna tank pretty fast.

Most children want to be able to respect their parents, and that pathetic mid-life crisis crashout degen type shit is poison to that. It's like being Balldo Nick's kids, albeit less directly harmful for them what with the lack of coke.

Making a comic about my family is something I would've done as a kid, not an adult.
Ellen is emotionally stunted but not in a medically documented way. If you ask me, she's mentally ten. She posts her stuff under her real name, doesn't give her family any privacy, and thinks she's hot shit.

My theory: Ellen is from a strict but wealthy Catholic family. She coped with her strict schooling and behavioral expectations by being weird online. She never grew out of this, even though she is an adult with her own kids now. This would explain her immature and sheltered worldview.

TLDR: Ellen is going to be a slutty schoolgirl next and she'll use her daughter's clothes.

I mean it lines up pretty cleanly with cringy reddit atheist nods and "oh how I HATE those eeeevil rich and pity those pathetic brown poors (not that I'd ever interact with them directly though, ew)" sentiment she radiates. She's very obviously stuck at ~19 mentally and emotionally, probably because to her that's the last time she had any degree of fun or freedom in her personal life, and has more than likely struggled very little. Most likely floating through life until her college years and then immediately getting married to some spinless dude and having children way too late out of fear of being old.

Happy people don't sit on the internet fishing for compliments and posting shitty pankcake-ass nudes in-between facebook mom-tier political "hot takes" while also fantasizing about cucking their husbands with the poolboy, nor do they hyper-focus on their critics to the point they write them into their comics like Chris-chan or Dobson did. That is not stuff a emotionally well-adjusted person does, especially not publicly, let alone in your 40s.

She also very clearly resents her children, which combined with her own self-admitted repressed sexual feelings blowing out once she reached middle-age could very well lead to her trying to sexually compete with her daughter and more than likely just straight up not have a relationship with her son. Imagine growing up and finding out your mom drew comics bitching about how much you annoyed her and how much it sucked to interact with you and then posted it online for random strangers, your real names and all, then topped it off with an Onlyfans ad.

I'd blow my brains out.
