All done hopefully this is good. Since I liked both of them so much just wanted to do them both.

In my head cannon there's 2 kiwi demon twins, that are part of the Ars Goeita related to Stolas. They LOATHE him for what a POS he is, and hate the Paimon babied him During the whole trial they have their hands raised for killing Blitz and raising it even higher when Stolas is about to be executed.

Maybe someday I'll make some more art of them.

Alright, settled on Helluvaboss, because I watched the first couple episodes of HH when they came out, and thought they blew chunks out of a dead sheep's rear.

Looks about as gay as I expected (purely descriptive use of the term here), but the pilot's got some voices I think I recognize, is that Zim? (watching as I type)
And it's got a nice scene to scene flow.
If it follows through with the musical element, that is a bonus, if it flops, that is a malus.
So far though, it's not doing much to repudiate the themes of my doggerel.

It's crass and colourful and irreverent, and all that good stuff, I am not JUST here to piss on your pride parade.
However, I feel like it could go anywhere or nowhere at this point.
Like, characters cussin at each other and being catty interspersed with violence and music, is basically all well and good.
However.
I feel like I have watched more -intelligent- cartoons, aimed at children.
And more transgressive cartoons that were more thougtful.
Although, Twelve Ounce Mouse and Xavier: Renegade Angel are also ugly-weird to the point of being intentionally offputting.

I do however feel though, like gay sex and murdering children for money is so 2014.
It's not shocking or provocative any more, but that kinda just leaves it as crass.
Which is a sign of these strange times.

I have to give those two shows credit where credit is due, they both took a risk with intentional ugly style and made it possible for future shows to be visually offputting on purpose. I don't want to say groundbreaking, but they definitely were stylistically progressive in context.

Aye, though being *psychically repulsive* at parts was the tradeoff for the air of uncannyness that made them zing.
People compare Mouse to twin peaks, and I get it, in that, Twin Peaks is also vague and confusing on first watch, and moves at a weirdly hypnotic pace.

I think the worst part is they still have the comedy show oriented character designs. I guess making it a drama though means they don't need to put as much effort doing the snappy squash and stretch type movements these designs are clearly fucking made for because they're just moping around and stilted/angry save for like music numbers or whatever.

This shouldn't be a hobby. None of this should be a pastime anyone partakes in. You shouldn't even be able to type those two paragraphs, to have a conversation about this topic. Anyone doing any of this has stalled at or missed a crucial developmental stage. It's too late people like Birdie has made it impossible to lock crazies in a mental facility especially when people (Lolcows) need it, in order for that to happen we have to actually stop trolling people which will not happen, it's not a possible thing to do in this culture even with early Chris Chan days, people encourage degenerate behavior in order to milk laughter (hence the term Lolcow.) so if you want future Chris Chan's to be sent to get help then you need to convince people to direct their unmasking to the wellness check areas instead of trolling.

Gaslight the audience, to make it seem like they never loved eachother. That Octavia is just a moron (like how Viv views her audience) that they always hated eachother. Nevermind the fact that paintings show that they were happy, they share a bed (even though they live in a fucking mansion so theres probably hundreds of other places to sleep), dialog states things like "us" "we" "cheating prick" which shows pain/ anger/ and heartbreak. That Octavia states "now that my parents keep fighting" and "YOU ruined home". She much like every woman is a bitch or an asshole to our gays, no care no nuance.

And that's the thing. Because Viv is going down this more supposedly serious serialized route, Stella (and the other villains/antagonists for that matter) should be more complex than they are. Because it's ultimately boring. They start out with interesting concepts but instead of building up on them, they rather rush or skip them completely to the easiest and simplest of answers. Stella should have either been an antagonist that gets reformed, or a tragic villain.
