The reason to buy Greenland? If it's part of America it means we don't have to fly asylum seekers to New York City anymore. We can fly them to Greenland and leave them there. This. Remember, the way they've been backdooring stupid bullshit into the US is they've been pushing it in Canada, so California and the West Coast can go "look, this works in Canada, so we're gonna do it", so the other blue states can go "look, this works in California, so we're gonna do it." The problem is by the time step 2 or 3 are completed no one looks back to realize that no, that shit didn't actually work in Canada and they're only holding it together because they're too polite to have a complete breakdown.

Integrating Canada into the US would also have to have the Canadians reconcile using the imperial system, having 20+ million new people start using private insurance, all the issues with first nation people. Etc.

That's basically it. Both the federal Libs and Cons in Ottawa have coasted for years on the unspoken fact that the US will defend Canada regardless because of its strategic importance. Trump is the first President to call it out which is getting the Laurentian elite shitting bricks because they know there's no way, if he's serious, to give him what he wants without serious cuts to Canada's welfare state.

Unlike 2016 though Trump has no reason to play softball now and given the shitposting has clearly smelled blood in the water; this isn't a negotiation round the next Canadian government is going to easily whittle down and stonewall away.

The problem of Canada is that a large number of them are these anti-American envious contrarian cunts. They have no common sense and their political outlook is just "how do we do to act in spite of those Americans" no matter how self destructive it will be. If an American builds a beautiful house, the Canadian next door would find a match to light himself on fire thinking that somehow makes him better than the American next door.

The Greenland Inuit people there are similar to the other Inuit (Eskimo) tribes that Alaska and Canada have, as they share the same ancestors. It would be interesting if the Inuit peoples were united within one union like is being theoretically proposed.

Generally, they're not that bad of a people, plus the Danish have intermingled with them heavily.

I don't have a problem with us giving Greenland a status as a territory.

With Canada though, there are going to be some issues if we united as one country. There's a lot of retarded issues and stupid bastards within three of their provinces that concern me, especially Quebec.

Ideally I'd prefer if Canada got their shit together before we consider a union or some sort of international agreement. It'd be pretty neat to be able to travel to Canada without going through border checkpoints. The Canadian people would benefit from a shared currency and easier trade with us. US would get more resources.

I'd be very happy though that this hypothetical scenario would make King Charles, Peetz, Yaniv, and Tredoodoo Castro Jr. seethe.

I might just have to give that a shot. My only concern is that we need better protections for American citizens so the ACLU can't sue us for filing false police reports or whatever. The legal system is cucked and designed to punish legal white Americans.

I think it'd be pretty easy to wipe out the eskimos. Greenland's important because of its resources, not the people. I don't think anyone would even object. Just do it Israel style.
