This reminds me of the fires back in 2012 iirc when I lived near Pasadena. The entire sky back then seemed like some sort of hell scape with how red it was. On top of that with the Santa Ana winds coming around this time its probably going to be worse than that.

The fire started in the woods just outside of a heavily-populated area on a perfectly clear day (no lightning). What else could it be? If it was just a freak occurrence of nature why has it never happened here before?

I know the fires devastating to normal everyday people too but those are cool pictures. This was definitely the right place to burn down considering the amount of experienced photographers and cameramen in the area.
