Something like this always has multiple causes, and the “blame” can add up to more than 100%.

People often focus too much on the last, proximate cause and not enough on the systematic causes, to use favorite words.

If the brush is a tinderbox ready to burn at a moment’s notice, it doesn’t terribly matter in the long run if it was lightning or car sparks or homeless or arson. It was going to happen eventually.

They obviously don't care as much about a "blue collar" area. I thought I saw some of those military helicopters last night dumping on the Hollywood hills. I bet they've just left that Eaton to burn.

To be fair Hogan is a notorious asshole who never wanted to lose clean and ruined other wrestler’s careers with his diva behavior and hanging on to gimmicks long after they are dead. He isn’t well liked by many fans.

it's probably a mix of saying the no-no word like twenty years ago now, other retired wrestlers telling stories about how Hulk was a politicking douche backstage, and of course being at the RNC. You generally need something on top of being conservative to get the hate. For example Kane and The Undertaker are both right wingers and are still loved.

The fact is Southern California shouldn’t be a built up over populated hellscape of millions of people, concrete and trash brush and eucalyptus trees….and depend on artificial water supplies to sustain it.

The native population in 1820 was about 300,000 for the entire state. Southern CA alone now has 30 million people. The idea of the Santa Ana winds combined with wildfires has always terrified people with good reason. Creating artificial irrigation and infrastructure can sustain a human population but Mother Nature is going to try rectify matters every so often. Just like building on hurricane prone beaches is a retarded idea, but that doesn’t stop people.

Mother Nature will always claim her wins at times.
