Screenshots are generally PNGs, and I've never heard of this in particular. I don't have the file @Shlomo XL used, but I believe it to have been a normal JPEG photograph with EXIF data intact. Practically anything that has the capability will attach GPS coordinates to photographs. So many people have been fucked over by EXIF data it's not even funny.The only phone that appends your home address data to SCREENSHOTS

EXIF does support PNG for many years now surprisingly, I remember I put a PNG through an EXIF tool once. It's seen as "non standard" though and I've not seen a device ever use it either.

There are many such instances of KF members uploading photos with GPS attributes attached, I have in the past kindly messaged users to warn them, just one good reason NOT to disable account PMs.
