I don't know, the more I think about it, the more @Emma Steele 's theory seems less far-fetched. Peetz said he calculated that with his current expenses, he could afford to take a month off before looking for another job, which coincides with Chins' original declaration of a "one month break from YouTube" (which I take to mean she was planning on spending a month in Canada). And isn't it sus that he wouldn't hold on for another...what, week...to get his bonus?

It gives me the same vibe as when Chins claimed she lost her wallet, then later admitted it was a lah she concocted to get out of paying Nader's rent. Peetz isn't going to straight-up tell Chins he's not going to lend her money any more than Chins was going to straight-up tell Nader that she wasn't going to pay his rent.

If true, it's a profoundly stupid plan. Chins WILL manage to screw Putz over again. AND! he quit a job he had for less than two years without notice. That is not going to look good on his (already pathetic) employment record. He is at an age when he should be looking to advance, not to backslide.
