Doobson has more subs than Lythero despite Lythero is way more successful than Doobson. I don't know how the collab stuff works, but I'm guessing Doobson finds out about his projects, and submits his videos to him. Lythero probably looks at his social media presence, and lets him in on the collabs. I won't be surprised if Doobson is selling himself cheap in these collabs because he thinks the "networking" will pay off in the long run when it really hasn't.

I WAS almost gonna feel bad for him (I know nothing about him) since I don't think anxiety with that situation is THAT bad. I also don't think the story by ITSELF is too bad to share honestly (I think pewdiepies "shit in the shower" story was worse).

But his sponsor at the end evaporated all that good will.

The thing is, he has every ability to change his situation, but makes zero effort to. He got popular making one type of video and refuses to change. He could learn a new animation style, besides little doodles. He could try a new genre of video, maybe something more story based or a video essay. But he can't realize this. And he will likely crash and burn before he does. You can say a lot bad about Pewdiepie and Markiplier. I think their main videos are boring. But they put in effort to explore in learn new things. Markiplier especially seems like he would have become like Goobus if he didn't decide to branch off into bigger projects like his youtube series and the movie he's working on. Just compare this video to the markiplier updates video, or how he talks about unus annis. To be alive is to grow, and Goobus has been a sterile pot sitting in a room and withering to death.
