He's posted a pic of himself wearing his new chin strap.

Seriously??? The damned thing's way too small for his head, for one thing. It's cutting into his flesh! And he's wearing it incorrectly--I guess he can't get it all the way up on his chin. He ain't gonna wear this for long, it looks uncomfortable as hell.

First thing that came to mind:

Welp, there's an avatar for a lot of people.

And I still can't get over how old he looks for 34.
I just noticed the man's beard is already turning grey. Is he aging in dog years? How is he going grey at 34?

Oh, and that pimple on the right side of his face really brings it all together.

What do you think, will he complain today for 5 minutes about how that strap didn't help?
First he'll try to justify it as "it's working, I'm feeling much better right now". Then after a couple of days, when he's still snorting and coughing and burping as the pig he usually is, he'll complain that the thing is a complete ripoff, bugged strap-on mechanics, etc.

Amusingly enough, chinstraps of the sort he has are absolutely not designed to help people with nasal drip. They're meant to help position your jaw so your tongue doesn't vibrate in the back of your mouth. If anything, it sounds like a terrible idea for Phil to use one, as it will force him to breathe through his mucus-clogged nose.

Incidentally, yesterday's chin strap purchase was actually the second time I heard of them that day. I was listening to news radio on my way to work and they had a part involving chin straps and how they help people sleep with things like Sleep Apnea and the like. Nothing about colds or DSP's Mold Inflicted Death Virus.
