Is it Christian to cheer for wanton death and destruction? No.I would like to call out ""Christian content creatiors"" saying it's wrong to laugh at this, it's not Sodom and Gomorrah, ect.

I hate kumbaya Christian shit that's all. I will take my puzzle pieces now.
We're talking about a state that has stopped my car coming in from Oregon in case I was smuggling apples but also decided eucalyptus trees were perfect to provide shade at the Dunnigan rest stop on I-5.I'm catching up on the thread:
One of the problems with the urban/wildland interface is that a lot of the eucalyptus is on private lands, and the state can't go onto a homeowner's lot and demand that they cut down a specific tree unless it's threatening utilities or some shit. It's also to be noted that a huge amount of land in the area is federal. The state controls something like 3% of the land area in the whole state.
Also, I don't want to dunk on atheists too hard but this seems like a situation where a responsible elected official would call for a Day of Prayer. Maybe it's because local LA reporters are all Mexican but I heard more sincere professions of faith out of the mouths of TV journalists today than I have heard from any elected officials.
The only reason we have 7 named colors in the rainbow is, Issac Newton thought it occultly significant. The natural rainbow of God has 7 colors, the LGBT rainbow flag has 6, they are not the same as LGBT defaced the original.
MSNBC is heavily obsessed with eight wing lies. The cycle when I lived in SoCal was :
fire -> blame climate change -> investigation -> cause was a homeless encampment -> Media moves on -> repeat
More of them than you think will "learn". With the exception of celebrities who already have money/other houses, losing your house and stuff is a big reality check for a lot of people. I don't wish that on anyone, have seen relatives lose everything to a housefire (not in CA) and it was a huge stress starting over from nothing while simutaneously having to juggle a job and family obligations. It can sometimes be the type of thing that makes people re-evaluate beliefs and life decisions. Its only sad because their constituents also won't learn.
99% of the population knows nothing about fire behavior and its connection to weather patterns, the same 99% will also does not understand how the climate works either. If the earth was cooling, then wildfire would be less intense because of lower temps, meaning lower moisture evaporation rates from fires fuels. The opposite of this is what we, meaning me and my wildland fire counterparts, are seeing on the ground and in our prediction models. (You know the fire weather alerts, yea that's me. )I'm still catching up so I lack context for this, but if an "undocumented citizen" did actually start the fire, ain't no way California is letting that get out. They'll pour more resources into stopping that story than they will stopping the actual fires.
It's because climate change is only ever marketed as HEAT HEAT HEAT. It is only ever talked about in terms of extreme heat, drought, and ice bergs melting. Nobody ever talks about the alternative (which is a big freeze). I guess that's because freezing doesn't seem as scary as being burnt up...and we all know fearmongering to control the public is the actual number one goal. Therefore, extreme heat + drought = wildfires, which isn't entirely off-base but of course ignores so many other factors at play.
Bottom line, it's because we've all been taught to believe climate change = burning to death. Ironic as a good chunk of the country on its other side is getting a lot of snow right now. As I type, I'm due to see snow falling just a few hours from now.
This will probably be viewed as skitzo babble but....I think it would be HIGHLY amusing if this was indeed judgement days, rainbows cease existing, and tons of disinfo is ran to snuff out talk about "why are rainbows gone", like "achsually water has been getting contaminated with micropastics and chemicals for years and so now rainbows cannot effectively form now because the prism shape is wrong" or something. No way, rainbows got us into this mess. No more rainbows for a while, even if they are the symbol of God’s promise not to glass us all at once ever again.
Trump should divert their High Speed Rail funding to wildfire relief. The impotent seething from grifters connected to the state government will be hilarious.Biden promised it to my understanding but in the grand scheme of things a fight over disaster aid and relief won't be surprising when Trump eventually gets inaugurated.
nah, MI-26s are fine airframe wise and anyone living around the mediterranean over the last 20 years knows they are the top trumps of helicopter firefighting; they are just not in the western hemisphere at all it seems. Makes the Western MiC buttmad when they are told to compete with heavy clunky soviet shit thats designed to just last forever. Not enough Mi-26s, and the air frames are getting old. Most work that I have been a part of is with UH-60's with Bambi Buckets. Bell 407's with a smaller bucket is very common. But that is the heli's limitation, carrying capacity. Because fuel weight has to be traded with water weight.

Let's hope Newscum also gtfo (Unfortunately there's no one better as far as i, California state Politics are not something i know about)From one failed governor to another.
Keep in mind a structures is considered literally anything, a shed, an RV, a trailer it doesn't mean a building.I know I'm late on this, but the LA Time is reporting over 9,000 structures destroyed or damaged in the fire. Now take into account that no building in LA, much less the Palisades, costs less than $1m, that this isn't over, and that the estimate doesn't give the scope of infrastructure damage, lost businesses etc. This is going to cost north of $25b by the time we're done. Goddamn.

I thought smug coastal elites brag about having that kind of money because they allegedly make most of our GDP and they have insurance so its all goodI know I'm late on this, but the LA Time is reporting over 9,000 structures destroyed or damaged in the fire. This can't be Sodom and Gomorrah because Sodom aka San Francisco is still unburnt. At least Gomorrah has taken a big hit.I would like to call out ""Christian content creatiors"" saying it's wrong to laugh at this, it's not Sodom and Gomorrah, ect.
