Not to derail the thread but the reason why trannies latch onto Evangelion like blacks latch onto crack is simple.
It's because of the Netflix dub introducing "even worse than tumblr" audience of zoomers to Evangelion.
When they seen how Shinji doesn't act masculine and is more effeminate than other male characters in the show they instantly started using that as an example of him being a closeted gay man or "an egg" especially because of the scenes such as him wearing Asuka's plugsuit in her debut episode and the scenes with Kaworu. In fact prior to him being reduced into troon headcanon, it was very common in those sides fandoms to headcanon him as a gay or bisexual man.
He was a flexible character whose trooning could work both ways, MtF troons could headcanon him as a closeted troon while FtM could headcanon him as hecking little smol soft bean boi. It doesn't help when the show became popular zoomer audience found old concept art where the designer for the OG show said that Shinji's design basically just him genderswapping a female character from previous series he worked on and interviews/articles about how initially he was a female character in Evangelion's early stages.

It doesn't help when Evangelion got re-released on Netflix, some of the characters got new voice actors. One of the most notable changes was that Shinji wasn't voiced by his OG VA Spike Spencer anymore but voiced by an enby pooner called Casey Mongollio.
If you look at her twitter you can see she really plays in with your average tranny "holds up spork and estrogen" humor
zoomer trannies love and constantly retweets pictures of Shinji as a fruit loop.
If you know anything about fandom culture, one of the most notable things is when people who work on shows and video games retweet things such as these, terminally online zoomies will take them retweeting or supporting things as a literal word of God and use it to reinforce this as canon, even though this is an individual's opinion on something like this while the actual creator of the series and people who actually worked on the show might be different. It's very often that they use words from people that have minimal involvement into a project to try to brute force it as canon/fact.
TL;DR: Netflix reintroducing an old series to new generation of zoomers and it's consequences have been
a disaster for old media.

Since I hit peak trans, I’ve done a fair bit of reading here and elsewhere about different trans issues.
It never once occurred to me to consider a MrF trans might be interested in and take the steps to try and breastfeed a tiny, innocent baby. That the natal biological mother would permit this, enrages me unreasonably. Doctors abetting this? Should be a minimum penalty of permanent loss of medical licence.
As for the parents’? They should be shot and pissed on… to start with. Do the natal no mothers permitting this have no spine whatsoever?
Mentally healthy parents of newborns want their babies to thrive and hope they catch on to basic human activities as effortlessly as possible. Breast feeding is an effort for these tiny ones and parents who are sane don’t want any additional barriers. Clearly these trss as Bs parents are insane.
The few social media entries U’ve read from tHess attempts at breastfeeding make it clear the best interests of the child are not a factor. Rather, it’s all about giving the MyF that crucial ‘female’ experience and screw anything else.
Let’s be real; we have no idea how healthy or not this… milk might be and we should always eat on the cautious side when it comes to something so crucial.
Was having coffee with several women yesterday and one I don’t really know brought up the topic. She thought it was MARVELLOUS! Trans women could partake in more intimately female behaviours! Another woman and myself were aware of this but the others had to have it explained.
We concluded that even if there wasn’t an overt threat to a baby’s physical health, this is just inherently wrong. I know every instinct I have screams this should not, EVER be considered as a normal behaviour. The other women felt the same way to the frustration of the one who brought up the subject. She was frustrated that we didn’t feel obligated to give her reasons, although we did.
She concluded WE were all the problem. I’ll wear that because nothing will ever convince me that’s normal or natural and I’ll die on that hill.

Yeah, feeding a baby troon moob pus is basically one huge massively unethical medical experiment on the baby. There is never a reason for any man to shove his nipple into an infant's mouth.
