I don't know, I'm actually kind of interested. I like the artstyle, even if it borders dangerously close to generic ugly tumblrite/calarts style, and the main character being a self insert while at the same time portraying themselves as the most pathetic loser ever seems hilarious to me. If I had more free time, I would give it a read.

This is also what's so fascinating to me. Most of these people are terminally online, mentally ill shut-ins, but to see it so brazenly on display through the fact that this is probably all this zoomer has ever known is amazing.

The way this person writes their Es is slightly aggravating though.

He's "spoiling everything for them" as well, i.e., ruining their lives. I never liked C&H, but there is a joke here, even if it does rely on humour that hasn't been shocking since Pedobear.

Funny you say this; I actually ended up reading the entire thing a day or two after that post because it seemed so blatantly insane. The newest update has only cemented this.

It's so fucking baffling. The comic almost seems to be self-aware, but without fail it will toss this self-awareness out for what seems to be its "true message" by having otherwise-rational people act completely retarded out of nowhere. I can't tell if it's all a very elaborate prank or if this girl's taking a page out of Kaczynski's book and genuinely has flashes of rational thought followed by bouts of unrestrained madness.

That's actually why I follow this comic despite the really bad artstyle, everyone's so recognizably terminally online and autistic to some level that I feel like I've seen all these conversations and types of people before, somewhere. I guess you can give props to the author for managing to capture them with so much accuracy, but then again, like you said, it's probably all they've actually known.

Okay I didn't pay attention to the ears until now. Can't defend that. But what can I say? The style kind of reminds me of Parrapa the Rapper, but not quite. It's cutsey enough for me and I like the sharp edges the characters have as opposed to just being blobs. I'm not an artist though so if this person is failing horribly at the basics, I'm not noticing.

Yeah, I was just thinking "The fuck you mean that isn't Growlithe!" And I know this is supposed to be Gen 2, but that fluffiness and ear position genuinely had me thinking the latter was Swoobat.

I don't see anyone acting any more retarded than people - normal or pozzed - do in real life. The typical scapegoats aren't portrayed unfairly or even negatively. The trannies/terminally online say what they usually say but it doesn't carry that subtext of righteousness - it's just how they talk and what they think.

And there's all that '90s stuff there again.

Don't they usually go for fangames? There's like 50 different Pokemon webcomics I can look up right now that actually make the designs look like Pokemon, if you're that worried that Nintendo is going to come for you personally, you're kind of a pussy.
