Has anyone here watched The Curious Case of Natalia Grace? I did a quick search of the thread and could find anything, so sorry if late and gay but holy shit the dad is a carbon copy of Pat. I highly recommend it.
Anyway here's a video of Michael reunited with Natalia 13 years later. See how he refuses to accept any accountability for his part in the abuse, and instead makes the conversation all about himself. They get her age legally changed to 22 and dump her in an apartment by herself at like 8/9 years old, stopping by semi-regularly to deliver groceries. She get noticed by neighbors and there are criminal neglect charges filed against adoptive dad Michael, but he beats the case because his lawyers successfully argue that only Natalia's legal age can be mentioned at the trial, so the jury has to make a decision based on the assumption that she's an adult. Michael and Kristine divorce, and Michael starts blaming EVERYTHING on Kristine, crying and screaming fatly about also being a victim along with Natalia (who was regularly severely beaten and pepper sprayed for not following Kristine's orders) and constantly deflecting blame. That's the gist of it but it's actually way crazier than that, 10/10 go watch.
