No need to fret, I'm a natal woman who just likes video games and computers. I'd say I have a healthy BMI too but being six months pregnant skews the metric a little.

It's both hilarious and sad seeing men in the droves (particularly Redditors and YouTube commenters) acting like playing the original Silent Hill 2 today is some impossible wizardry. It's easier than ever now.

I'm playing N64 and PS1 games I grew up on from the comfort of my couch while grown men are crying that they won't remaster Donkey Kong 64 or whatever for modern systems. It's liberating to not have to rely on companies that don't care about preservation or the consumer.

Bloober's watered-down disgrace of a "remake" is so depressing to me because it's just going to be the standard now. Meanwhile, it took the hard work and love of fans to give the OG the treatment it deserved. Same thing's happening to Oblivion.

I think that's a bad defense for the original, but that still doesn't change the fact the remake demake has other changes that actually makes it worse than the original (those reasons being stated in the video).

The controls are fine. They're responsive and the game provides the choice between "3d" tank controls and "2d" analog controls. The latter is the solution to getting filtered by the tank control scheme while the former is the solution to getting filtered by the aggressive camera angle transitions in the fixed camera rooms. If anything, the camera is the real culprit.

The Silent Hill 2 remake could've actually done something cool by having it so that you can flip between over the shoulder, fixed, and dynamic camera angles with the push of a button. Everyone would get something out of it. Instead they made slop for Last of Us fans.

He made a literal dog shit multiplayer entertaining and engaging, I have yet to see any youtuber do it (except for a few) and milked it to its full content.

If anything the man atleast has a talent to make you sit for a while because you never know what wacky stuff he going to say or what will go on.

The "BUT IT SOLD 6 GORILLION COPIES!!!" cope for every shitty thing that gets released today is so useless in the age of metric tracking. When the RE4 remake can hit 180k players on steam at launch and SH remake can't even do a fourth of that it should tell you that they probably didn't make shit in returns.

Doesn't matter anyways, because any game that has ESG consultants on it was subsidized by some gaynigger investor who doesn't care about profits. Anyone stupid enough to actually buy SH remake instead of pirating is paying for literal gaynigger propaganda that doesn't even need their wage dollars.

one of my friends always play this game when I was hanging out with him horror games have always been a niche genre of Gaming.

And no dead by daylight is literally a slasher game .

The only really successful series that is consistently sold a lot of copies is Resident Evil.

that's a really terrifying game it's probably the only really horror game I've ever been.

I mean I enjoy strategy games but I don't pretend that strategy games are as popular as first person shooters or rpgs
