...especially in morrowind. Carryweight is tied to the strength attribute and even using god mode till you can reach a place to sell or store shit doesn't work in morrowind because it doesn't bypass over encumbrance.
Desperately spamming featherweight spells to get to town quicker.
Its fucking hellish.
One thing Daggerfall did really well was the cart.
I liked being able to go to the cart and just dump all my extra loot into it and haul that back to town.

Isn't Fortify Strength better than Feather? As I understand it, in both spells and enchantments, both have the same per-magnitude cost, but 1pt Feather = -1 Encumbrance but 1pt Fortify Strength = +5 Carry Weight.

I don't remember if Fortify Attribute spells can raise past 100 (Oh darn I guess I'll just have to play it again. Woe is me.).

How many mods and what kind? Also you went from playing normally to now it physically can't load? I had that happen before but it was a long time ago. Try the tried and true, disabling half your mods until you can load and then re-enabling them one or two at a time. Also, when it's loading, is your CPU being used a lot? Are the mods you're using compatible with the version you're using? How long did you let it load? I could go on.
Moments after I made this post, I opened Vortex, it updated some plugin and then it worked again. No idea why but maybe bitching about it on the internet was the real fix. There aren't even any real file conflicts in my modlist.

When I was finishing up my Morrowind playthrough, I carried 100 bottles of Flin, or whatever the potion is that buffs your strength. The merchant that sells it carries an infinite amount and there's no limit to how much you can drink, so every time I got encumbered I just chugged Flin until I wasn't. You can also drink a ton to hulk out before a really tough boss fight.

I've already downloaded Interesting NPC's (3dnpc) for Skyrim and I met Rumarin just now in my playthrough, the snarky Altmer 'bladebinder' who wants to go and do something about a bewitched sleeping giant's treasure? He was talking shit how we better have a bard and another sword-arm and jokingly suggested that if the bard was also a bad mf that'd double our chances, "maybe we should go to Jorvaskr and see if any of them is a good singer".

OH MY GOD HE'S TALKING ABOUT THE WANDERING SINGING GIRL COMPANION ISN'T HE?!

I've met her like three times and I was wondering when she'd be useful!

BEST MOD

Now go to Candlehearth Tavern in Windhelm and talk to the guy banging his daughter. Interesting NPCs is a bloated mod and the mod author is a massive faggot who's responsible for the shitty dialogue and some quests in Starfield.

I miss the level up messages from Morrowind and oblivion

It's all suddenly obvious to you. You just have to concentrate. All the energy and time you've wasted -- it's a sin. But without the experience you've gained, taking risks, taking responsibility for failure, how could you have understood?

I'm joking, use what's best for you, glad you got it working on your end.
Oh God that fucking mod, how the fuck is it so popular?
guy banging his daughter
I spoke to that guy once, immediately backed out and murdered him right there and then, fine be damned. 1000 gold ain't shit. "My hideous (literal, remember Trinimac and what became of him) shitfaced wife's soul entered my daughter's body so I entered my dau-" doombolt firebolt to the face.

Man that made leveling up not only feel more of a reward, it was immersive as hell. I also miss the vampire dream sequence from Daggerfall, made you feel like you were actually cursed.

I prefer to forcibly turn him into Vampire Cattle and then let my sired Vampire underlings (Lydia's much better with glowy eyes and fangs!) feed on him until he eventually expires.

I've done both an imperial and stormcloak run, I've done every guild questline basically every playthrough, I've played through the VICN trilogy (before dac0da anyway) three or four times, I've done the Forgotten City once after a friend mentioned it, I have never done a vampire run. Being a vampire is pretty gay. Imagine getting pegged by Molag Bal lmao. Gaaay.

Speaking of, I noticed that the ezPG guy has done a vampire-sided dawnguard epilogue/continuation quest mod. Has anybody played it? I've been liking his stuff as I've encountered it this playthrough and I already did that two-pack companion+quest he did once, before it was rolled into ezPG, with the nord bugaloo berserker woman and the dremora? Considering all the vampire stuff available, maybe my next playthrough I should just do an unironic turbo-psycho run and do all the evil shit in one go?

Ah, so this is the real ebony warrior. Haven't done a Stormcloak run yet, then again I'm not a big fan of the Civil War and any mod that changes it is usually super buggy or minor which doesn't really help my dislike for it. I've completed Forgotten City on the best ending with the Dwemer guy but I also didn't really like it (the whole story was pretty alright but I feel it stumbled through most of it), and I kind of guessed the plot not long into the mod (also lol at the Jarl for having a women chained in his bedroom who immediately murders him when released and doomed everyone). I played the actual game from it which was also pretty alright but suffered through similar issues imo.

I've yet to try dac0da myself but it looks fun and less insane compared to vicn's crazy fanfiction mods. I do enjoy them but to take them seriously or to think it's at all accurate to the lore is silly, and fuck ACT 3 of Vigilant though I did not expect Silent Hill but far worse in my Skyrim and I would have liked to keep it that way. The martyr mechanic was unique though. I wonder if someone made a mod that replaces the Dark Souls armor and weapons with more "Skyrim friendly" equipment?

I've heard mixed yet mostly positive opinions of it, plenty of criticism to go around, but when it comes to quest mods I have low standards so it'll probably be pretty decent. Don't know much about his mods otherwise.

I'd go with a "royal dick that's better than everyone" run, not actually royal but thinks he's royalty because "surely the vampire who sired me was an esteemed one of high regard in vampire society, who else could possibly sire the Great *insert name here*!" only for it to be the vampire equivilant of a crackhead. Playing an evil murderhobo in Skyrim won't really go well, hell being "evil" requires some heavy self-roleplaying and mods to allow you to do so as you're going to be railroaded hard. Even going the evil vampire route in Dawnguard ends up with you being the hero anyway, such is Bethesda writing...well such is Elder Scrolls writing. There are evil moments such as the Daedra quests (rip Petilius) but it's usually based around being an anti-hero or only one or two evil acts with little consequences, or even just neutral but can be seen as evil under differing circumstances. Unless I'm wrong and retarded. Probably wrong and retarded.

My first time playing VICN's trilogy is what really made me love the Elder Scrolls lore, and every major update of his work that added new stuff for me to look at just gave me a fuller appreciation for the setting. It's a hell of an interpretation, of course, but mixing the aesthetics of the Soulsbornekiroring franchise and re-interpreting similar themes and scenarios inside the Elder Scrolls universe is... It's just sublime, peak kino for my tastes and what I think a good mod should be. Very inspirational! I can only hope to be so grossly incandescent.

Every time I play through Pelinal's memories and slaughtering the Aurorans, getting ambushed by Laza, cutting through the legions of Order, finally going against Molag Bal, teaching ancano to forgive... Coming back to Nirn to meet Lalanoah and Brand, or tearing apart the chick traders to save Lalanoah, and always being doomed to fail... that made me understand what 'Doom Driven' is supposed to mean in the lore. , it's all such a lovely experience the entire way through. It's the best fever dream in a game I've ever had, and it's from the demented mind of some jap! Frankly, it's not even nearly as psychotic as Kirkbride's weirder stuff. That is, In my opinion, for the better, which I think you'd agree.

Anyway, in my book, any mod that gives me a more fulsome appreciation for the entirety of the game series is an automatic S tier, especially if it can convey the crazy lore aspects at the same time. But, maybe I'm easily impressed.

Only vaguely related but it's something that makes me laugh whenever I remember it, my favorite heavy armor mod is the Northern God armor, and it's always tickled me pink how both Vicn (a jap) and 4thunknown (a russki) arrived to the same conclusion that "okay, the Faraam set is obviously Talos related". Isn't something about that charming? Anyway, I've only found stuff adjusting everything in the VICN trilogy to have better textures, but no remeshes to lessen the obvious soulskirobornering aspect. Then again, that's another of my favorite series and it's never bothered me in the first place. So, maybe I need to look harder?

I'm really looking forward to dac0da. I'm a little scared of Kirkbride's nonsense being directly used by VICN, but I have faith it'll be sick to run through anyway.

It's fun, and the goodies in Dawnguard are worth.

Only Lord Harkon being a cuck meanwhile mistah Molag Bal banged Serana & Valerica.
You skip all that gay shit when converted.

Oblivion in general had the best combat out of all TES games
full on cap no way you think it's good oblivion is the most unresponsive fighting system out of the tes games with the only difference in combat high level or low level is the number on your sword which doesn't matter when everyone procedurally becomes a damage sponge that makes it seem your character is getting even worse at fighting as you level
