Remember when Phil said a boom mic arm made sense for him since he wasn't a bum like RTU and he moved around all over the place during his streams (because rotating 90 degrees is literally backbreaking labor) and the arm was so he could adjust the mic and not get in the frame?

Right now his fucking mic is in front of him whenever he types while playing Flight Sim

And he would have been right and it would have worked perfectly fine before he started buying all sorts of shit.

Ironically, his audio was the one thing he actually had relatively dialed in prior to all of his various 'upgrades' to his 'studio'...which he has since fucked up because he decided to replace his old mic, which was some flavor of condenser mic, with a dynamic mic.
What this means is that the optimal operating distance changed. With a condenser mic you can usually have it set up farther away (~6-12 inches) from you and have good quality audio however with a dynamic mic that distance shortens considerably (~2-4 inches).

He could probably fix it to a certain extent but that would require a lot of fiddling around on the backend and he'll never do any work that requires a modicum of effort.

I've been rewatching old TIHYDPs while working for background nose and it's night and day how he's changed. He was always a massive greedy pig, but he somehow managed to sink lower and provide even less value and respect to his dents.

To be fair with Steve, the way Phil acts about anything encourages that sort of behaviour:

Everyone knows Phil lies about his back injury, and he probably stole the story from someone else (likely Dave).

BUT Phil, has this horrible trait of denying every claims he's telling bullshit unless you have concrete proof while constantly moving the goalpost.

So yes, that is a way too long video about a retard's fake back problems but so are our countless discussions about how DFTR is DSP.
It's just the way Phil acts about his lies encourage that sort of behaviour.

Sure but when we read something we don't agree with here we just click the disagree button and call them a retard and move on. At most we'll write a couple paragraphs about it. This is 10 fucking hours to write, record, and edit a video debunking DSP's lies which really comes off as egregious no matter how correct the overall take is.

So, I loath to admit this but I've been raw dogging some of his old content (because such a vast quantity of his best TIHYDP have vanished) and I have come to basically the same opinion. He was always retarded, always thought he was funny, but you could tell he had some inkling that he needed to be entertaining in the past, especially early livestreaming era. This isn't even feigned as an effort anymore, and if someone were to suggest in chat that he should attempt to entertain the audience, he gets deeply offended and will lean people over this. I have zero clue how he thinks he can turn on stream everyday, overtly refuse to be entertaining, overtly delay actually gaming till he gets a satisfactory level of contributions, drag out gameplay to avoid buying games, bitch when people stop caring about games they wanted because he drug it out (FF7 Rebirth is a legitimate great example of this), then straight up quit playing for chunks of time. Between the hour of slideshow before stream, the 2 hour podcast, the 2x 20 min piss breaks to do whatever, plus whatever other excuses he can come up with to stand/stretch/go talk to Khet, etc he barely plays the game then has the nerve to bitch about lack of progress.

Also the lack of decent edited detractor content is seriously inspiring me to make my own, mostly from old shit where he would be most entertaining.

10 hours is unreasonable but I find myself sometimes driven up the wall and just yelling at phil like an impassioned fan watching his football team play like shit and screaming at the coach. He just says such obviously objectionable and retarded things with such smug confidence it really does provoke unreasonable responses. He and Boogie seem to share this trait that compels them to lie even when it doesn't benefit them at all. It's just instinct.

I don't think I'll ever get over him pretending he runs a podcast. It's just begging and complaining. Occasionally he'll pretend to have an opinion about some gaming news but usually even then it takes up such a small portion of the show for a channel called DSP(space)Gaming

After DSP admitted to being DFTR, he indirectly also admits to being a pathological liar and a vicious un-remorseful gaslighter. You might as well interview a schizophrenic pee-pants bum on the street and make a 10 hour video on how how he actually didn't fuck the President's wife, or invent the fountain pen. DSP is incoherent; perhaps the most prolific server of word salads in history, and has zero capacity for empathy.

To quote Sir Joon Steve's videos are "supremely long-winded." No idea why it had to be 10 hours rather than at most 1 hour. Just find his dumbest lies about his bhek (I remember once he claimed that he inherited the herniated disc from his dad. Yes, really) and conclude it with "DSP is a lying cunt" and that is that.
