I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. It could be a mistake on the doctor's part, but that's a hell of a mistake to make in a medical record.

I found the video, you can hear Tom talking about the history with Mike at the timestamp.

So, we not only had him, but we had him, and the choice was what do we do? Do we protect him, or do we send Michael to live with his grandparents.

yeah the thing is, andy is in the ''low average'' or dull average ranges; and he is just smart enough to plan the manipulation, but not smart enough to have the foresight and focus to keep the act at least fairly consistent, plus he does not have the mindset to research actual disabled adults - instead he acts like a very badly acted disabled child TV trope.
that being said another ironic thing is actual disabled people who are legit delayed can manipulate and milk their condition - disabled people come in all personalities and mentalities too - some indeed are manipulative asshats, i know i have seen it in all my years working in adult disability services, and its a learned or enabled behavior that they had either been taught or allowed to do, even encouraged and rewarded in some way so they kept it up over the years; but a lot of them want to be as normal as possible they want to be independent...even the ones who were once dependent and 'childish'' once you expose them and give them a little taste of the independence and skill-building and they start to see the benefits of that, they develop drive and self-determination.

Our public and social service resources would not buy into any of his act at all.

At least Diane is dead, and she can't enable Andy anymore. I don't know how his relationship is with his other sisters, but it was probably rough as the only boy.

I have a feeling that he's gonna fake autism himself right into becoming a thorazine zombie. Or whatever they give to insane people nowadays. If he ends up in jail again they may force him to take it. He's already ruined his brain by taking meds he malingered for and pounding it on walls untl it bleeds, like a reverse Bill Goldberg headbutt intro.
I also have a feeling that the movie "Music" by Sia could have influenced him. Always wearing headphones, sensory overloads, hand flapping, thinking he's a savant etc. The worst similarity is they find their elderly mother on the floor after a fall and don't help her.
I can't help comparing him with Chris. he's like a Bizarro Chris.

Nah, I think he got this from stalking Facebook, and watching videos about severely autistic kids on YouTube. I've been perusing some archived Andy videos, and there's one where he's just trawling YouTube for videos about a particular hospital abusing people. I can see him doing the same for finding information about autism displays
