Do they have somewhat a point that Biden was giving more money to Israel and Ukraine during Hawaii's fire disaster, during the East Palestine debacle and during the Hurricane disaster in North Carolina under a Democrat governor despite voting for Trump.

Got curious about Newsom accepting Mexican firefighters thing and this article is from today. In reality both Mexico and Canada sent deployments, Mexico itself sent about 70-100 mostly to contain the Eaton fire. Two days later and the only Mexican representation I hear of are the illegal arsonists kek.

Also for the sake of MAYBE repeating something that was already shared upthread, the entire Southwest and Northwest sent firefighters so I want to believe that's the reason the major refused NYFD help earlier.

My local news this morning only showcased the photo op with the Mexicans and there was nary a mention of Canada or any other states sending crews. Admittedly I skim a lot of this thread and haven't listened the pressers at all because it's just a bunch of grandstanding--the two major fires are still going strong--but have they mentioned all the extra help? Or does only south of the border count?

There were also plenty of smiles during the news clip--Newsom and others were grinning, while the actual firemen were dead serious. Apparently they were the only ones who had a real grasp of the situation.
