Finally that narrows down which of the Lupinus genus' 200+ species it was. There were a few closest candidates left to differentiate but sure enough Lupinus texensis wins by a nose:

That sounds right up his alley to, on the one hand, combine the blue (male) lupine with pink (female) Prunus persica blossoms similar to the cliché garbage tats Kayla already has, and fool her into the basic-bitch interpretation that this combo symbolizes his renewed commitment to their aggressively monogamous marital vows, but on the other hand, still get to feel clever sending a low-key signal to April that the "three wolves" are back on the menu.
