A lot of white Europeans are scared of Muslims because lets face it, they regularly rape and bomb us. But Islamic hatred for Jews is even more targeted and strong. So I understand why they feel threatened.

I've been vocal on social media that posts about nebulous anti-Semitism don't help, because people default to thinking it must be white people racism. Not so; it's Muslims. With the "not all Palestinians" caveat - and that it's largely their leadership that is the problem rather than the civilians. (Hamas kill anyone who won't support them):

Neighbouring Arab countries fucking hate Palestinians and won't accept them as refugees because they have a history of cozying up to other countries, then attacking and destabilising them from within in the name of Islam. They contributed to the Islamic Revolution in Iran in the late 70's - it was formerly a sane, secular country and now is a backwards hell hole. They also contributed to turning Lebanon from a 70% Christian first world country into a Muslim shithole. When Palestinians were refugees in Jordan their behaviour was so bad they were sent back to Israel. Egypt also blockade Gaza, and Hamas recently tried to assassinate the Egyptian president. They just cause trouble, unrest and subversion wherever they go. Ireland are stupid for trying to embrace them.

I honestly think Arabs like having Palestine oppressed because it gives them a good reason to hate and oppose the Jews. Otherwise Arabs would be happy for them to all just fuck off.

Similarly, Israel will never actually genocide Palestinians. They need them as antagonists, to induce the constant threats and warfare that contribute to Israeli people's defensive mentality "we are the most uniquely and unfairly hated people in the world, therefore we must defend our ethno-state at all costs"

I think one of the things in America is that everyone knows all the stereotypes and it's possible to believe that Jews are involved in, say, liberal politics, finance, law, medicine, psychology, and Hollywood in a way that is outsized in the culture while also finding most Jews very personable and non-sketchy on an individual level.

You know them socially and you get to know their hopes and dreams and they're kind of boring and American.

Good job, good family, good house, comfortable lifestyle. Not out to gyp anyone, just out to succeed.

I haven’t checked on this thread in a few months, this hit my funny bone as I was scrolling through: I admire the casual dismissiveness of not bothering to know or write Sander’s name and it not mattering, by the time I picked up on it I was laughing, thank you all.
