Basically ever since "Hardcore" punk was tied to metal in the 80s with bands like SoD, a deliberately racist and edgy shock rock band, its been going ever so slowly more and more woke each generation while becoming more and more ugly and simplistic because punk is just sociopolitics with music attached for all the oversocialized spiteful mutants to feel special without actually doing anything music related and priding themselves on politics and association and image(Like Danny)

A great example is Pantera, Power Metal and Cowboys from Hell were traditional metal albums with a lot of melody and technical rhythm playing that did not have any real political leanings, each album became more and more simple and brainrotted psuedo tough guy butt metal that served as the archetype for every county fair butt rock band since 1998

Pantera outwardly seems like a right wing chud band but its really not sadly if you actually read the lyrics

After CFH, Phil started adding woke politics to Pantera after he lost his singing voice
"making love your own way" in Fucking Hostile and "Lesbian love is accepted and right" in The Underground in America and has been outwardly pro leftist in interviews

The most comical aspect of it is that Pantera used to write songs about getting laid in the 80s, ride my rocket, but then started writing songs about getting rejected by women in the 90s, throes of rejection

I can further defend this in the case of his white power comments, if you actually look at Phil you may realize he has some extremely mongoloid features that very much so resemble fetal alcohol syndrome
He isn't racist but he is retarded much like Danny and has no idea of what he is actually saying

Japanese bands don't lecture me on fucking gender politics despite the male members of bands like Ryujin and Malice Mizer being fruits and there is a parallel to how the Japanese video game industry avoids politics while the west browbeats you over racial politics

Cartoon Network as a whole peaked around that time. Aside from the wonderful Toonami and Adult Swim anime, you had a ton of good stuff like the Tartakovsky cartoons, the DCAU cartoons, and many other shows. You can even say the same thing about the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon, since you had great shows like House of Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, Fairly Oddparents, Danny Phantom, and Avatar: the Last Airbender.

I used to be a RazorFist fan in my early years of Highschool, until I realized much like Dane Cook, he is a rather untalented man who put all his skill points into sounding smart without actually being smart.

But more or less, I think he is a symptom of a bigger problem of all the shit Video Essays of cinema on the internet.
So many of them are just miserable depressed misanthropes using their favorite movies as a soap box to talk shit on things they don’t like.
In a sense, RazorShit isn’t that different from MrEnter when he barely reviews something & uses it to commentate on something that annoys him.

Some shit like “Fight Club goes to show how bad our NeoConservative Working Class society is.” “Blazing Saddles predicted Reagan would make life for Black Americans worse.” or “Disney’s Brokeback Die Hard Matrixful of Dollars is a classic that shows why modern Hollywood is ran by Marxist elites.”

Like for fuck sake, I don’t care about the politics you are projecting on it, it’s just a well crafted movie.
I don’t watch The Good The Bad The Ugly thinking what a great commentary it is on why people are pussies nowadays, I watch it because it’s a beautifully shot Spaghetti Western Epic.
It’s probably just me because I am incredibly apathetic & uncaring to any side of the culture war, I’ll watch anything be it Leftwing or Rightwing as long as there is good artistic creativity behind it.

Honestly, speaking as someone who kinda likes Razorfist and some of his content, it saddens me to see him becoming more and more of an annoying christfaggot. Say what you will about Tarl "Styxhexenhammer666" Warwick, but at least he's not slowly turning into an obnoxious bible-thumping dipshit.

Heck, the old Halo and CoD games weren't that explicit either, and the most you'll get out of Mass Effect in terms of fanservice is a slice of ass that you can refuse.

And he's not even a fun one, or a well-educated one. I've seen Christian anime geeks and gamer geeks who aren't whining about fanservice, because as Saint Augustine once said, "if you do away with harlots, the world will convulse with lust." A practical man can understand that there's always going to be degenerates, so bitching about fanservice is stupid. Especially when it's exceedingly expensive to raise a family nowadays, so it's not like these weeb gooners can just substitute digital titties for the real thing on the fly and have their girls pump out babies the way God intended.

Then there's Razor's love for Ayn Rand, which goes against everything Christ preaches. Sure, I can buy Razorfist being a Christian prude; most religious folks are prudes. But him revering someone who thinks that selfishness is a virtue goes against everything Christ teaches.

This always amazes me, it isn't just a thing with Razorfist, a lot of "Conservative Christians" like Ayn Rand, when Ayn Rand's philosophies are the very essence of peak kikery. The elitism, the morally justifying the exploitation and subjegation of your fellow man, the promotion of selfishness and greed as virtues and the worship of oneself is pretty much anti-thetical to any Christian belief system. I am not really a religious person, but to cling so insistently to two diametrically opposing moral and philosophical positions seems a cognitive dissonance that would drive you batty. You're either a madman or a dullard, because they're the only ones capable of pretending to rationalize it.

That's because these people worship capitalism while pretending to worship Christ. That, or they're remnants of heretical cults who invented broken theology to justify their selfishness. They worship wealth; they think that people blessed with wealth are God's favored while people who are poor are cursed by God, and that no amount of charity will change one's spiritual destination. Not only does that stand against what Christianity originally taught (they taught that the poor can live a life with Christ and be blessed, while the rich are blessed with material wealth so that they can help others along with helping themselves) but the whole theology of these Prosperity Gospel preachers was created to support a capitalist system that saw greed and selfishness as virtues.

Never mind that capitalism was originally the product of Enlightenment-era thinking; the same rationale which stated that mankind would never be free until the last king is strangled with the guts of the last priest, as Denis Diderot once said. These same people during the French Revolution tried to eradicate the Church and the monarchy. They only found Jesus once the Commies came along and tried to eradicate them. As for the American Protestants, whose theological positions are the ones held up by "Conservative Christians" today, they created that broken "Prosperity Gospel" theology that was a branch-off from Calvinism to justify their greed and lack of empathy with religion. Which probably got more than a decent number of them sent straight to hell when they exploited their fellow man in ways that would make your typical feudal warlord look like John Brown in comparison.

Razorfist is a symptom, not the cause. He merely adopted this poisonous ideology. Probably because it stands in stark opposition to Leftism. He doesn't understand that the Leftists themselves are just a symptom too-a symptom of a society that worships wealth, selfishness, and greed. The fact that the engines of wealth are now the ones pushing social justice in the West is a sort of cosmic, karmic retribution, that the same capitalism the far-right worships is now the very same capitalism pushing SJW and DEI agendas onto companies like Disney, Warner Brothers, Microsoft, Sony, among others. But of course, Razorfist can't accept that, so he has to blame the Chinese for it.

For Christ sake, I’m not even a Communist but I recognize that Unchecked Capitalism is degenerate, and pertains neither to Leftwing or Rightwing values.
It is it’s own beast of rich pedophiles flying off to islands to have sex with minor prostitutes, American CEOs who probably descended from outlaw gangs that burned houses to buy more land for the state, and no average citizen seeing the wealth of the economy.

Both Conservatives & Liberals should be critical of it, because it does not care for either values, and RazorFist is an aggressively idiotic idealist who doesn’t have enough hindsight to see that his world isn’t threatened by Communism, his world is threatened by Capitalism that doesn’t appeal to his type anymore.

On another note, RazorFist just confuses me as a person.
Some of the things he argues about in almost anything (politics, gaming, comics, music etc.) are the smallest pettiest things no fan would give a flying fuck about, he had to go on a whiny ass spazzattack over Iron Maiden not playing a lot of their old songs for a concert promoting a new album.
That happened over 10 years ago, get over it.

For a person who jerks himself off to anything that attacks state powers, he hates MGS when it is one of the best (albeit absurd) criticism’s of Western Globalism in almost any game.

But the most baffling thing of all is him being both a Glam Metal & Black Metal fan.
Being a hardcore fan of Glam Metal is already a red flag, so many hardcore Glam Metal fans I have met are douchebags with drug/alcohol addictions, then became preachy Christians who felt the euphoria of forgiveness of God, & because they ignored the essential step of truly learning why they became addicted, they relapse on drugs, what a shocker.
But combine that kind of attitude of Black Metal edgelordiness? Then you have a shitstorm of two toxic waste barrels colliding together.

Just like you once had Roman senators who drove Roman farmers out of work with their large plantations manned by foreign slaves. Or you once had Southern plantation/slave owners who hoarded much of the South's wealth while poor Southern men could barely afford negro slaves, let alone a decent living.

Like I said, Razorfist doesn't want to wake up to that reality. He wants to keep fighting the war with Communism even though it's now the capitalists who are pushing wokeness to the point where the Commies seem more conservative by comparison. Exactly. Yet he worships at the altar of Michael Moorcock, a dude who supports cancel culture and is farther to the Left than Alan Moore or Hideo Kojima.

Moore wants comic writers to be able to write about any topic they wish, even if it's taboo topics like rape/sexual assault. Kojima wants to shine a light on the evils of the military-industrial complex, something that Eisenhower tried to do in the past. Yet Razorfist hates them both and loves Michael Moorcock, a dude who wants books that run counter to the feminist ideal of women to be shoved to the side in a library and not be seen or read.

That, and the shit he does believe in runs counter to patriotic or Christian values, such as unchecked capitalism or selfishness as a virtue. He'd get his ass arrested by the Inquisition if he lived in a truly Christian society.
