The troon game director is apparently "quitting" and smashJT is passing on rumors that it only sold a little over a million copies despite a 10 million goal and Bioware Edmonton will be announced to close in February. Per Wikipedia Bioware Edmonton is Bioware's headquarters so I'm not sure how that shakes out.
We might not even see ME5, holy shit.

They deserve it.

He made a video about it too.

And Corinne Busche's letter of resignation just in case.

Do they have anywhere left outside of Bioware Edmonton or is this a complete shutdown of the company? I thought the rest of their studios got shut down years ago.
Bioware Austin apparently, again per Wikipedia. Their resume is "continuing production" for Inquisition, the Star Wars MMORPG that apparently is still a thing though they've handed off the work to another company and a cancelled attempt at a new IP.

Hopefully this parasite doesn't turn up at any other major studios. If this is true and the studio does shut down in Feb, let this be the event that removes any lingering doubt among other major devs that DEI and shitting on your own customer base is a death sentence.

That's crazy man, Wonder what that means for the new Mass Effect game? Cause if the headquarters of Bioware closes, who would be working on it then? Some other EA studio? Sad what happened to a once great studio being killed from within :(

DEI is a dead horse. This freak of nature has a game with a decade long dev cycle, that has failed to reach its audience so horribly it tanked the company. Say what you will that the game was doom from the start, but there’s phyrric victory, and there’s Veilguard. No one will remember anything from Veilguard other then how fucking pozzed Bioware let it become.

And we thought Project Dylan was bad.

why can't trannies make games that sell? Blacks got rap music and the like and that sells across race lines. Same with gays but why is it that the trannies don't know how to market 🤔
Because they are literally incapable of making anything other than self indulgent narcissism, ie the Taash non buynary scene.

Also blacks generally have Jews with MBAs to transcribe their illiterate ooga booga jungle bullshit into a commercially viable product.

Everyone is too afraid to tard wrangle troons.

I dont know much about BioWare other than enjoying their MechWarrior 2 knockoff for a bit. I tried to play Mass Effect, but couldn't get it to play right on my toaster of a laptop, and lost interest after a bit.

Mass Effect got a breath of life (and an actual fucking steam release, yes i'm still mad ME3 never released on Steam in the year of our lord 2025) with the Legendary Edition, and people were excited for ME5, but I honestly think it's best if it just stays at rest. Andromeda was universally reviled, and that was before the DEI bullshit was in full swing. I say, let it end with 3, and let people keep their interpretation of what happened to Shepard. Plus, ending with 3 does them a favor and saves them from having to decide what the fuck happened at the end, and whether or not anything that happened after Harbinger blew Shepard to hell was some kind of hallucination, delusion, or just flat out indoctrination

Guys, honest question:

I used to be a huge BW fan back then, having played Kotoe and Mass Effect 1 and 2 many times, but never ME3 (got the red ring of death), but I tried my best and somehow managed to stay spoiler free to this day.

All I know about ME3 is that some people generally didn't like the ending, and it even got a alternative ending later down the line to satisfy the fans. From what I understand, it was the beginning of the end for Bioware.

So: is it worth it to give ME3 a go? I'd love to finish what I started 20 years ago, but if it means an utter disappointment (like playing The Last of Us 2 after loving TLoU1), I might as well save myself the time and trouble and just read the plot on wikipedia.

Thoughts?
