That's because it's an unadvertised, all inclusive service offered by Ralphs landlord/lawyer/plumber/chauffeur/cat sitterFrankly, I cannot find a single month-long detox service for $900 that covers everything.

I don't know enough about Mexico but it could be a non-profit or semi-government run detox facility which would explain the low cost. I am certain that drug issues are a problem in Mexico so they must have facilities available for detox (not necessarily rehab) that are "affordable" to Mexicans. There’s also the issue that there’s no way he can detox from the amount of benzos and God knows what else he’s on in a month, and any place that would tell him that is lying. These Mexican rehabs are not meant for people with such varied and complex issues as Ralph; even 90 days wouldn’t be enough to make a dent in the intensive detox and treatment he needs to have even a chance at success. As someone else mentioned, you can’t even begin treating addiction issues until the physical dependency has worn off. If I cared about Ralph, I would actually be worried that any place that would accept $900 to detox him could actually kill him if they try to do what they do for most of their clients.
Maybe, but that would surprise me. A lot of rehab facilities that don’t take insurance will work on a sliding scale, but it is still generally a for-profit industry. Either way, he‘s on an unusually high amount of Xanax, which is tricky to detox from; has zero support system and many reasons to relapse; has a personality disorder and various fat related health issues; has free access to cheap drugs; I could go on forever, but the point is, he‘s in a unique situation and it’s going to take a lot more than one stay at a cheap detox place. Also, considering what I’ve heard about state-run detoxes in the US, I shudder to think what a cheap Mexican detox facility would be like. Probably similar to what Burroughs described in Junky where they just lock you in a cell with a bunch of other addicts for a few days to sweat it out. Unless he’s drastically cut his xanny intake since the last time it was tallied up, this will be a potentially dangerous exercise in futility. Not that I don’t want him to succeed. As much as I dislike him, addiction is a bitch and probably the one thing I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy,I don't know enough about Mexico but it could be a non-profit or semi-government run detox facility which would explain the low cost. But based on what I've seen in the thread I would worry that he simply can't afford a lengthy enough stay without "working" which is sort of a catch 22.
He seemed to have a bit more insight in his recent post than in his usual screed trying to apportion blame to his victims for upsetting him. Hopefully he can sort himself out for his kids sake, no one deserves to grow up with a public junkie as a parent.I unironically wish him the best. Ralph somehow making his life less of a dumpster fire could be quite the interesting story.
If schools replaced their current no drugs and alcohol campaigns with just an unedited pill-stream of Ralph, then I am sure most would stay sober for life.No Ralph people quit drink and drugs because they see what a husk you have become
If he does I hope it's like Bossman's final streamsI expect him to still do a inauguration show and explain it away as the Rehab centre simply let him go home for one day
His priorities are still clearly fucked. He'll be back to pill streaming in no timeHe never got himself into rehab for his family, health, finances, many lost friends, but for Milo? lmao
Makes you wonder if he is that much of a sociopath he can only see his son as real because... he wants a boy, dammit, the rest is biological waste. Or if Harry owned him so much he is cowering? Haven't heard much about Pantsu in a while. Good on her!"Thank you to Faith Vickers for being the mother of my son"
Damn, he really has forgotten Cozy Rozy exists, holy shit Ralph, not a single mention of his daughter
I can't speak for where he is in Mexico but in Mazatlan there are only a few nice rehabs. The others are for profit or cartel ran. The cartel ran ones for men are...interesting to say the least. Once you are in, they do not let you out until your time is done and I have heard stories of people getting beat by staff once inside. I highly doubt piggy would be stupid enough to land in one of those but even the nicer for profit ones will be brutal for him. No air conditioning, multiple guys to a room, and to your point, you have to sweat it out dry. His withdrawals will be INSANE.Maybe, but that would surprise me. When he first mentioned it he said 15 up to 30 days depending on what the treatment center says.Interesting that he never mentions how long he'll be away, most likely to be able to lie about it should he drop out early.
I don't want to shit on AA (or NA - Narcotics Anonymous) if people have found that it works for them or they think its a great and viable system. It's unclear if whatever detox/rehab place he's going to will even use AA steps and that kind of shit in the first place.Poor dude is going to get stuck on the fifth step. A lot of people do, especially if their sponsor doesn't force the issue. And the old timers who don't molly-coddle are dying off. A good sponsor doesn't cosign bullshit, because they know all of it, being bullshitters, themselves.
That's it. Even if I buy this rehab story and even if he successfully completes it, he's still a creature driven exclusively by his ego, desires and personality disorder(s).Piggertits is a mentally ill sociopath and that will never change.
That's exactly the problem with AA. It's sort of like being a vegan or cyclist in some ways and if you have to make your entire life and every waking moment about being sober rather than moving onto something new and better then I'm not sure how great it is for some people.I've seen more people get sober on their own without AA or NA meetings than I have that stick to the 12 steps that seemingly turns anybody who's made it through them and came out the back end sober a fucking full on obnoxious cunt about sobriety to the point where all you want to do is imagine what your fist would look like coming out the back of their skulls.
Ralph's an obnoxious cunt so he's got that part already down.
