Sweet Baby Inc. and the Steam Curator Group Conspiracy - The company that is responsible for the diarrheic video game writing.

I've mentioned in a few threads how the US comic industry is so dead, that they had to put out a fart fetish comic (complete with scratch and sniff) to try and attract rage bait because making a character black or gay isn't enough to get social media engagement any more.
What the leftists did to the comic book industry should be a cautionary tale of what will happen if they are allowed free reign in other creative mediums.

I'm not going to pretend the industry was peachy before the Marxist infestation, what with the impenetrable lore, endless retcons, crossovers, special editions, multiple comic titles for the same characters, price gouging et al, but at least there was a passionate core fanbase and the possibility to turn things around with some soul searching within the industry.

Then the leftists came along, and within the span of a few years a single manga title (Demon Slayer) was outselling ALL Western comics published in the US combined, month after month. Manga was mogging on comics so hard that the top 20 most selling comics were predominantly manga titles.

And it's not like it was superhero fatigue - the MCU was making insane amounts of money, cartoons and games featuring superheroes were also doing very well, it's just that the leftists had alienated not just the core audience, not just the casual audience, not just the modern "audience", but nearly every single human that had even a passing interest in comics.

Publications with sale numbers that would have been considered apocalyptic in the 90s were touted as smash hits, while the vast majority of comics were not worth the paper they were printed on, with a disturbing number of titles being given away for free by comic stores just to get them out of their hands (and even then nobody wanted them).

It's also a great insight into the fact that, no, leftists will not stop, not even in the face of economic Armageddon, and will happily piledrive both the comics and the companies publishing them into the ground if it means they can keep preaching at people.

There should be a term for this as it happens a lot. In Tabletop, there are people who hate Games Workshop, but keep buying warhammer and then making videos about how much it sucks. There are people that hate Wizard of the Coast for what they've done to Dungeons and Dragons, but refuse to play any other RPG. I'd lump Nintendo fans in here but that's a completely different problem.

Consoomers would be the most obvious, but I don't think that really fits because the consoomer eats corporate slop with glee.
I know someone like this. I wouldn't call them a consoomer by any means, but there seems to be this need to hold onto a dying brand because of how much of your life is invested in it, as least that's my guess.

If you were to suddenly say "Marvel sucks now and has sucked since after Infinity War", then you may feel like you wasted the last...16 years(?) watching all these MCU movies and being invested in this thing? I know how it feels to feel like you wasted your time in something just to end up resenting it in the end, but life is a learning experience, and you are wiser for it, so I personally think people keep holding onto hope for dying brands like Star Wars, Marvel, Halo, etc, because you don't want to feel like you wasted your life/time away. Make of that what you will.

I agree there should be a term. I don't think consoomer or "normie" are appropriate for this.

Its called the sunk cost fallacy.

Razorfist joined the ring in the "Anti-Gooner Trad Discourse". It gets better and better.
It's always great to see dumbfucks on your side do everything in their power to ruin a surefire victory.

You do not fight human nature, instead you try to find a way to channel human nature (in this case, waifu gooning) into a constructive force for your side.

The loudest are often the dumbest. And their thirst for even a bit of power is first to show.
Nothing like chasing everyone that helped you win an election away by doing the same thing the other side did.

All over the news today. That email looks fake af.
Bioware closing would be a W. But Smash and Grummz getting egg on their face over another bad rumor would be more funny.

No, rhetoric technical term for it is “grift.”
How is making the unpopular decision that will cost you viewers and make certain content creators turn their back on you a "grift"?
Sounds like Razor being his dumb contrarian self.

I only buy 3.5 used books I have almost all the books used I pirate all the PDFs I've never once paid for a codex and I buy all of my warhammer stuff from a shady guy from the back of his van.
Hey I don't know where that guy got it from I'm assuming he paid for it.

Find the shady guy who sells stuff out of the back of his van you will save so much money

As for the Drinker praising GOW Ragnarok, it could be brand bias.
I dunno about that. I loved all the GoW games including the first Dad of War reboot, but Ragnarok just fucking sucked. It was padded up the ass with completely pointless quests, including critical path stuff, and all the characters were miserable.

The only thing I really liked was the decision to make Odin a conniving Jew instead of another roided up Zeus knock-off.
When Naughty Dog presented their terrible new upcoming game with the androgynous bald chick, their marketing was disgusting - "THE STUDIO THAT BROUGHT YOU CRASH BANDICOOT! JAK & DAXTER!"

It's like fuck you, all those people are gone, and you hacks couldn't even come close to holding a candle to those people and what they created, yet for some reason, it works. Granted that trailer was massively ratioed, but it apparently works on a large number of people.
Wasn't it also strongly hinted that Neil Druckman basically forced Amy Hennig out of Naughty Dog because he was jealous of her?

It's one thing to take credit for the work of those who came before you, it's even slimier to take credit for the work of people you bullied out of the company because you wanted to make boring misery porn instead of fun games.

Sunk cost fallacy enjoyer?
ashamed to say that, as recently as a year ago, I was a "sunk-coster" of a particular game company: Nintendo. Even through all of their anti-consumer practices, I still naively believed that they were the "last bastion" against the malaise that plagued modern gaming. Then Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door's remake came out, with its wokefied translation. Not even bing-bing wahoo was safe from these fucks. It was a painful but necessary moment. Steam Deck OLED and Switch 2 emulation/modding it is.

Dunno if that's the exact motivation but yes, Hennig was crowbarred out during the development of Uncharted 4. Shockingly, the game then became another story about BEING A MIDDLE-AGED DAD IS SO HARD.

Look at the retards who send Null money to read dando bible verses they don’t understand. The online “Christ is kang” type is a retard with deep pockets as he has no friends or family to spend money on.

There's a certain kind of online tradcon that has never stepped foot in a church and probably can't name a single apostle but just whines about "degeneracy" online.

Razorfist is that.

There's no actual Bible verse saying boobies are bad but the retards he's grifting off of don't know that.

It's always the "born agains" who screech the most about things they personally find distasteful and want to see censored / banned. I'm a Christian myself, and most of these morons can't separate fiction from reality unless it's based around things that they like (see MelMac with her liking of Lara Croft). Most of these retards are over compensating for their past, over correcting and (at times) going full and complete fascist. Instead of realizing that you can still allow things to exist while personally ignoring a lot of the content you find objectionable, they screech and screech, often not realizing they're becoming the very thing they fought against. It's exceptionally sad watching a lot of these creators fall into this trap (yes, it is in fact a trap). It makes you wonder a lot of the times if they actually did like the thing they said they liked to begin with. It becomes a literal "HOW DO YOU DO FELLOW KIDS" kind of mask off moment.

Honestly, all I can do is just sit back and laugh at this retardation unfold and watch these creators tank their own success.

Because Tony was a patronizing asshole narcissist, but every movie was him suffering the consequences of his actions and/or hubris, which is why his death at the end of Endgame is so powerful. He spent a dozen movies trying to fix his mistakes, and ultimately sacrifices himself in the most selfless act he could have possibly performed.

Captain Marvel just girlbosses from front to back in the most smugly annoying way possible.
I still can't get over them killing Natasha. If anyone would have died with a purpose it should have been Rhodes. Not to mention it would give Tony more motivation.

Someone mentioned on the last page an actor got harassed? Who was it?
