Pendulum Swing Watch 2025

Wow, 41 pages! I, too, love Grandfather clocks. While I must admit my desire to watch the pendulum swing has waned with age, the aesthetics of a Grandfather clock cannot be matched. An underrated aspect of a Grandfather clock is how it almost functions like a constant but subtle alarm clock for your time management. Every time I hear the thunderous bells, I stop, learn the time (using only my ears!), and take a mental note of where I am in the day. Perhaps my current task at hand is taking longer than I anticipated, or perhaps I have an engagement I need to attend soon. Unfortunately, my current dwelling does not have the space to justify a Grandfather clock, but once I get a new place, it will probably be one of my first splurge purchases.

Woke's enemies were getting really close to attacking it at the source: academia. Seeing mainstream conservatives wake up and realize where this subversive filth was coming from was a relief since I was practically shouting "IT'S ACADEMIA, STUPID!" from the rooftops since 2015. Unfortunately, most mainstream people are easily distracted cattle and as soon as they see a headline about some organization halfheartedly rebranding and covering up "cutting DEI programs" they'll call it a total win and go back to watching their ESPN and eating their slop. Someone has to keep hammering away at and exposing the subversives.
Ngl academics are interesting because they're the biggest bunch of retards I've ever met and quite frankly nothing of value would be lost if they all died (and I say this as somebody who's mother is an academic, I'd gladly throw her in the oven myself tbh). They only exist to corrupt the youth and push degeneracy on them. That's why none of them have normal dissertations, they're all farting homosexuals in medieval Sicily and shit like that. They're all sick fucks and it broke my heart when I realized what my own mother takes part in. She sold her soul for tenure.

While President Jackson was one of the greatest presidents, without which the Union wouldn't exist.

The big difference between me and President Jackson was Hard (gold, silver, bitcoin) vs Soft (fiat) Currency. He believed in Hard currency. Hard currencies lead to foreign influence, causes liquidity crisis (where the government doesn't have enough money for essential services) like in the second Punic war. It is also deflationary. Deflation is where the number of goods and services increases, yet the monetary supply stays about the same. Therefore incentivizing not spending the money. This limits economic growth. Economies are needed to remain competitive in war. Soft or fiat or sovereign currencies don't have any of those problems. however, they should be controlled by the state, Not unelected bankers.

Most "academics" just want money and social status. They'll say anything they're paid to say.

If it's a softcore print magazine like a Playboy or a painting of a titty or something, it's not a problem. The problem is online porn, and it being easily available on any device. Due to how massively profitable that industry is, pornographers are driven to "innovate" by pushing increasingly depraved acts to stay ahead of the competition. Preventing the monetization of porn should put a big dent in it.

And of course research into the effects of porn on society should not only be allowed, but should be encouraged.
Hardcore digital porn shouldn't be as accessible as it is today but realistically, how would you stop it without draconian digital ID measures? That's the slippery slope I'm worried about.

I also think more awareness of all the sex trafficking and criminal shit that goes on in the porn industry needs to be spread too. Even Onlyfans, which was supposed to be "safer" ended up becoming a haven for pimps, perverts and pedos.

If you want to host a website, you can't have porn on it. Porn goes by the Roth standard. People act like these policies have never been figured out. Free speech was over 300 years old when porn was allowed.

Same way they stop CP now. Take down any website hosting it, zero tolerance. If there's nothing to access, there's no need for a digital ID. Print can just be a regular ID check, make sure they're 18 before they buy a Playboy.

In addition to heavy restrictions on monetization, that should eventually drive down both supply and demand for it.

You'd be hard pressed to do a crackdown on "normal" porn the same way CP is treated. It's way more widespread.

I agree with restrictions on monetization though.

It would be a gradual process, of course. Can't just cut off the coomers all the sudden, they'll go apeshit. Treat it like any other addiction.

If you really need your fix then you have to stand around the other smelly coomers.
That's a horrifying proposition. I've seen videos of old school adult stores and the "booths" in them.
Imagine paying a dollar to whack off in a box full of other men's cum and risk exposure to ALL the STD's.

So you want to take the same approach modern liberals are taking to banning guns?
Kind of, except guns are useful and porn isn't. It should be treated more like illegal drugs, where the harm greatly outweighs the benefits.

But it's a complex issue and it needs a multipronged approach. Gradually taking porn entirely off the internet and back into the real world will bring some much needed self awareness for the coomers. Going after the financing of the pornographers will remove their incentive of making more new porn and making it increasingly degenerate to compete with other pornographers.

I was gone for two days, what the fuck happened in this thread...?

Total gooner death, Jerry.

porn absolutely falls under free speech
That's a very modern idea though. Before the 60's, porn and pissing in public were both seen as public indecency. Equating books/movies where sex happens to pornography is silly. The purpose of porn is to arouse sexual feelings, not communicate anything, unlike a novel or a movie where a sex scene happens. Even "sexual" paintings like the Rape of the Sabines has for purpose to communicate history, not make the viewer horny.

Pornography is a creative work, but it is the same as other vice industries like alcohol. It doesn't mean to produce goods/thoughts, only to exploit emotions.
