The floating lips character design kind of looks like Chop Sockey Chooks
Except I like the art direction in that show, it's of that Frutiger Aero/Y2K era, this quite literally looks like a kroger ad.
I'm more annoyed people started talking about that instead of the thing this guy was talking about.

Was driving home and during traffic, by what could only be described as a stroke, this came back to me, anyone else remember Animonster?
The entire show to my brief research as well as the channel catalogue have been expunged but this remains as proof that it did exist.
Another one that comes back to me from time to time is this travesty of a gem, DestructoBox:
Both shows suffer from total DFE because the creators are retards who should be shot, but some scraps can still be found if you search hard enough.

I have a strong dislike for the cartoon sitcom, exacerbated by years of ugly, poorly written shows becoming the default for "adult" Western animation. Recently, this despise was heightened by finding out that there was a Tubi original series adaption of Gilbert Shleton's noted underground comic The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, which while counterculture underground comics aren't necessarily my thing, it did have a somewhat charming cartoony art style. I understand years ago, there was going to be a stop-motion film adaption by a UK studio, that just sort of disappeared. Then I stumble across this series on Tubi and find that it was adapted via Starburns Industries as a Family Guy-ified shell of itself.
Makes me wonder how many of these "alternative" comix guys at the time thought they might have gotten a movie deal after the Fritz the Cat movie debuted.

I have a copy of that too, I downloaded that last year. It's pretty craptastic but not as bad as the Sandy movie.

It's one of his projects he's been working on getting made for a while, and frankly it sounded interesting to me, I'm sure we're not going to get graphic depictions of dog genitalia, or anything like that for furry perverts. Tartakovsky apparently wanted to make a ribald "adult" animated comedy that didn't rely on pop culture humor. I have some faith in the fellow, he's pretty much the only guy left in the US animation business who has both ambitions to raise the medium's stature in the public mind, and still enough clout to try and make things happen. It's also a shame we don't have more people with clout and ambition in the American animation biz.
