"The paper was hitting stuff on the way down making a loud noise."
It's pointless embellishment on a story that didn't need embellishment. It would be cool enough to say "Wtf, my printer just activated and spat out a puzzle for this game". That's pretty unique.

But no, this retard has to make it 'cooler'. "I was giving this game all of my attention because I'm so smart at puzzles, when suddenly it sounded like someone broke in! I went and got my machete (yes he says this) to defend myself, and went upstairs to obliterate this intruder. But there was no one there...but WOAH there was a piece of paper from my printer, and it knocked stuff over and sounded like someone had broke in, and btw guys I have a machete and could totally pwn someone that broke in."

The guy's face at the end of the second clip is priceless.

The Ghost of bullshit present was haunting him.

"The paper was hitting stuff on the way down making a loud noise."
:really:
Nigger, you do not expect anyone to believe a SHEET OF PAPER was making any loud noise comparable to a footstep.

I would love to see how he rigs his printer up to make it stomp around the house and acts like the setup is normal.

Grummz actually did things at Blizzard though. He may be a grifter too but, he actually made something - unlike Maldy.

I'd sooner wager its a screenshot of a new game coming out through the publishing company.

I think because I went through this shit with Tim Pool back in 2019ish that's why I didn't take to him at all. His know it all ism and self importance reminded me of beanie boy a bit.
It's not that I took to him. It's that he streams at hours I'm up at and I prefer live streams as background noise over long videos. I think I already felt something off by the 1st stream but I couldn't be bothered looking for multi hour long videos on youtube that I like since I needed to be doing the thing I need to do.

How the hell would you cheat? This self proclaimed smart ass nigger can't figure out how you would cheat in a game about puzzles?
Then again, Outer Wilds is way less of an obtuse puzzle compared to what I've seen here for Animal Well. Without seeing any of his clips or how fast he did it, I find it believable that you can figure it out on your own in "normal" stream times without a guide. This defense made me think he used a guide though.

Got a bit paranoid about our guy possibly nuking more than he already has, specifically these streams where he was laughing at Elon's Path of Exile 2 situation, so I downloaded them because I don't know where to archive 12-hour streams and decided to share a few moments from them I found in the transcript. Some of these might strike you as ironic.

1st clip @0:15
I am mostly mad that he is so bad at lying [...] Lie better, that's depressing.
Oh no no, Maldy nooooooooo
:stress:

why the trans flag reaction?
It's a normal thing on discord. You'll see transexuals react with a trans flag for no particular reason other than to get attention or attach their flag onto anything. You'll see stream notifications, rule announcements, events and others get the same treatment.
Damn it! Every time I look away from the thread there's something new to update the feature I posted. :lossmanjack:
Edit: He claims he was playing a mobile videogame while livestreaming playing a videogame? No wonder he can't finish his game! He has the attention span of a fly.

Developers get double taxed, players buy 1k robux for 9.99 USD.
If the player spends that on the game in 1 purchase then the developer gets 700 robux.
The rate of payout is 1 robux for 0.0035 USD.
That 700 robux is then turned into 2.45 USD.
Therefore the actual percentage that is being paid out is 25%.
To add onto this. He does acknowledge this information in his comment, but his partner "makes bank doing it".
I know this because Shaye our artist is a UGC developer and makes bank doing it.

Thus there is actually no problem with the system, the people not earning enough and complaining just aren't as good as the superior Mald family. Simple as that.
Maybe they should have got married to a lvl 99 algorithm hacker as well and then they wouldn't be exploited financially.

Wich gaming community will Maldy be exiled from next???

I agree this is obviously one of the most retarded ways of doing this, but unlike almost everything Yandere Dev does, this does not negatively impact the performance of the game. Even all his useless additions to the code don't, mostly thanks to Game Maker Studio, being very retardproof.

He even does the classic Yandere Dev move, of continuing to develop the game on an outdated version of the game engine, sacrificing Mac and Switch compatibility, despite (especially in this case) bringing the game over, seems to cause almost no issues.

"Updating breaks cutscenes" - I really struggle to believe, even gods most mentally deficient programmer, couldn't do what's probably the same code modification, for all of the few cutscenes this game has, in at most a single month.

My point is, that while Yandere Simulator, would need to be completely remade from scratch, for it to be any kind of an even semi-decent videogame, this could likely be finished and ported in 3 months time, even by someone with Thors dubious coding skills. If he dedicated the time spent coping and seething on social media, to working on the game.

Another problem shared between Thor, Grummz and Yandere Dev, is that they all enjoy being seen as a game developer, way more than actually developing their game. They can e-begg and pretend it goes to development, play and criticize other games, from some position of authority, lecture others about the videogame industry,...
Having not played heart bound I assume this is probably because going from game maker 1.4 to 2 changes how cameras and viewports work. Anything pertaining to moving the camera around would break. However, this should really only be an issue with the camera itself and not the cutscenes.
The way I would make it work for a cutscene would be to have the camera anchor itself to an objects x and y coords which would still work fine as long as he updated his camera code. If he did some fucky shit where it’s actually going in to the camera code and changing the size of the viewport it wouldn’t work.

I believe he also uses the old way of sorting draw order which was to assign objects a magical number which is called “depth,” the higher the number the lower priority it has for drawing. Game maker 2 did away with this in favor of layers more like an image editing program, but you’re still able to use the old way if you change a few variable names.
