So I'm someone who wants to be trans fem non binary but I'm terrified of the orange jackass preventing me from ever doing that. I’m fairly young. In my early 20s. I was only able to start HRT this past year due to circumstances in my life finally changing and allowing that. I just wasn’t ready to go through the hassle of changing my name and gender marker because of a traumatic event that happened to me that’s too complicated to get into. I lost my personal identity.

Now with the news and, yknow, everything going on today, I’m thinking it’s too late. I don’t have a passport because I haven’t traveled outside of the country since I was a teenager. I’ve been living away from “home” for a while and just haven’t had the time or energy. Now I’m hitting myself because the one form of ID that would’ve been easy to get changed probably isn’t so easy anymore. Or maybe it’s impossible.

Am I fucked? I feel so hopeless. Right now I’m living in a red state that those maps say you should avoid at all costs. My doctors here say it’s okay here for now, but I’m worried for my future. I try and stay rational, focused on the facts, but now the facts are starting to look more and more like my fears.

Sorry for this useless post. I know you all get a lot of these. I’m just feeling lost.
