Still seething about the hairdryer.

It's strange to me that she wants those sentimental items in the first place. I wouldn't want the stress of protecting my most valuable positions as I bounce from place to place. Not to mention the extra time, effort, and expense to lug it around. Having parents willing to be free storage space is a blessing for most college students, or anyone that moves frequently.

Coming in hot- Victoria is now German!
I think it's the first time she called herself german instead of jewish or what have you.
If she had literally any knowledge about nazi salutes she'd know that the hand is held above the head for some time; Elon just straightened his arm and that was, at most, a weak ass attempt at saluting

PL- coming from a Pole- us kids loved making pro-nazi, anti-jewish jokes. And salutes.

That Tinu chick is already decomposing but the grift train does not stop! Fucking $8200, eight fucking thousand dollars.

Can anyone remember the last time Victoria talked positively about an interest or something she enjoyed that wasn't an obvious ploy to present an image of herself (versus representing any truthful part of herself)? These types of people - right or left - who are so obsessed with expressing constant political outrage often find themselves alone aside from being surrounded by other shallow nutjobs because the rest of us have friends, families and hobbies to focus our attention on when global news gets tiresome.

Babies are being born today, couples are getting married, grandparents are leaving this world after long, wonderful lives surrounded by those who make up their legacies, but Victoria and her kind are so myopic and performative that they cannot see anything beyond their tweet threads about the ragebait du jour. It's like observing an alien species at times.

You're allegedly Jewish, Victoria. If times are so difficult for you, why not take some comfort and refuge in the Torah? Oh, wait.

Maybe I’ve gotten too cynical, but I’m 99% sure she doesn’t actually have ALS. They all seem to claim some terrifying, incurable illness—and honestly, I don’t think this particular grifter is any different.
On a less cynical note, I genuinely hope she doesn’t have it. I sincerely, wholeheartedly wish that she’s free from such a cruel burden
They don’t, but it’s the perfect nightmare disease to lie about having to guilt people out of money. Someone with two dollars to their name would give a dollar to someone with ALS. Even hearing about ALS makes people give money out of sheer gratitude they are not suffering with it and empathy towards anyone who does.

(The creator of SpongeBob SquarePants died of ALS)

I used to work with dying people, and the only three people I have seen use California's right to die law were folks with ALS. It's fucked up, too, because as part of the law you have to be able to self-administer the cup of nastiness that kills you, so a lot of ALS patients off themselves early on because they're afraid they'll wake up one day unable to hold the paper cup and swallow - at which point the legal suicide stuff is off the table.
ALS is fucked and I hope that person finds themselves a Mott's heiress to help them out and that they get on SSDI my god.
I have questions that make me sound insane: what do they take? What legal forms do they have to fill out? How long does it take to die from medical suicide? Are they just laying in bed or are they up-moving/sitting-up/going to the bathroom by themselves? Does family or friends come to witness? Do they need a witness? What witnesses qualify? Can they do it at home or does it have to be in a facility? Heres a stupid question, are they able to see their own death certificate before its notorized?

i know that one personally. Until i got settled in my house i was glad to know my keepsakes were (somewhat) safe at the parent/s house. If you can pack your stuff in a car and take 8 trips to move that infinitely better than having breakable shit take up and extra 3 car loads.

Can't remember what they take, but when I was involved in this stuff (a few years back) it was a powder you mixed with a liquid. It tastes terrible. In fact, before you drink it, they have you take an anti-emetic. They also have you do a test run to prove you can drink 5oz in a short period of time. They don't want you sipping it, for obvious reasons.

It takes between minutes and hours, but usually closer to minutes. They fall asleep and stop breathing. Family and friends are welcome to be witness, but legally you have to have at least one other adult present (I believe over 18 is the only requirement). All the folks I knew who used it had family and friends with them when they died and by all accounts they were good deaths (no spasming or barfing or anything worrisome to those present).

You can do it anywhere private; the point is a good, peaceful death so I can't fathom people choosing to administer in the hospital if they can help it.

You need a 6 month prognosis which is pretty easy to meet with ALS, unfortunately. A big hurdle is finding doctors who will prescribe the stuff, although I think that may have improved since I was in the death biz.

No idea about the death certificate! Probably not because when you get the "medicine" and take it home you can use it whenever you want. A lot of folks (like 50%!) get the prescription but never actually use it. They just like knowing they have it if it gets too bad.

You can Google "California Aid in Dying" and get a lot of hospital/doc protocols for prescribing, etc.

If Temu was chronically disabled and terminally ill for so long, why is her family freezing to death without her around? One Temu's tugboat from the gov is in no way going to be enough to support a whole clan of layabouts.

I think a much larger problem for Vicky is that she is just a selfish and terrible human being in general, and even people who agree with her political views but interact with her in real life eventually get rid of her.

She's continually getting into fights with her roommates and getting thrown out of living situations, because she's lazy and takes no responsibility for keeping herself or her living space clean. I bet it becomes apparent to even the most credulous disabled ally that Vicky is exaggerating or lying about her illnesses to get out of things she doesn't want to do. Her upbringing has gotten her used to treating other people like servants or an ATM, and for actual struggling college kids I bet it gets old super quickly.

This is where the twitterati would reply ”um, disabled people exist, buddy” - as if actual disabled people wouldn’t be pretty annoyed if you assumed their disability meant they lived in filth.

It’s such an infantilizing and condescending view of disability, but a perfect rationale for grifting munchies. Quite the tell, really.

I bet there's a good chance her roommates ARE those sorts of twitter idiots, but then they live with Vicky for a few months, see her shitposting on twitter for hours at a time and wolfing down doordash, and then suddenly she's too uwu disabled to wheel her takeout wrappers into the garbage. Or she'll be up all hours of the night but suddenly too exhausted to talk to them about the hideous stench emanating from her room.

It doesn't take much time around a malingerer to spot how their illness flares up around the time you try to hold them accountable and mysteriously calms down when there's fun shit to do. I find people with actual chronic illnesses and disabilities are FAR less sympathetic to people like Victoria because they actually have to find a way to live with a serious condition, instead of trying to use it as a get of of accountability free card.

The California information pages about this are very cagey about exactly what the drug is -- they don't want to publish an explicit guide to suicide, I'm sure -- but a look at the medical literature strongly suggests it's secobarbital or pentobarbital, one of your old-time barbiturates. Same thing vets use to put down animals.

I love that disabled people just exist, living and loving and adapting to their situations. And fake disabled people must be so, so envious that you have people existing with a card-carrying disability and they're not even using it to get all those ass-pats and free shit. What's the point then?

Ah, basically the Heavens Gate special. Just add applesauce or your favorite pudding.

Black sweatsuit, Nike Decades, and purple sheets optional.
