This wasn't an emergency, but it was not a planned induction. Her water broke way early (last month) and our plan was to wait until 37 weeks against medical advice when they would do a C-section if induction didn't work. (They wanted to just cut her out at 34.)

But my wife went into labor on her own and three hours later our baby launched out of her like a cannon ball. Our doctor caught her, she immediately started crying, and now it's just a matter of waiting for her to gain weight inside an incubator then outside an incubator before we can take her home. Timing depends on her and could be a week, could be a lot longer.
