Someone posted earlier that it was very much an organic situation of getting over with the crowd through hard work and persistence instead of being liked by Vince. I liked Becky because she was spunky and fun to watch. But her appeal has worn away over time. Her character hasn't changed, there's been no real angle for her to be involved in the women's division, and she's just boring. The feud she had with Rhea Ripley in 2024 leading to Mania was actually giving me some hope for Becky. She seemed reinvigorated and was putting in some good promos. Hell, the match with Rhea was the best match at Mania following Roman vs. Cody on night 2.

Becky has some genuine go-away heat with me. If I never saw her on TV again, I wouldn't think it to be odd at all.

Nic Nemeth and Joe Hendry had one of the best TNA matches of all time last night at Genesis. Absolute DIMES.

Am I the only one who doesn't care about Brit's possible departure? Brit had the luxury of being the only woman who could talk on AEW TV early on than covid happened and she got over exposed. Toni Storm carried the woman's division however this memory loss thing is just stupid. Good way to kill you momentum.

TNA is a easier sit with a shittier production than AEW is with a good production. TNA also has the built some stars so that helps too.

I'd still consider myself an OG AEW fan and i don't care if i never see Britt again even though she was a huge part of their womens division in the early days.

She was a good promo but she was getting carried hard by better workers for most of her title run because she's only an OK wrestler and then she pitched a bitch-fit once she realised she wasn't going to be top dog any more because a few girls who could do it all showed up in AEW.

I just don't see her ending up in WWE once her AEW deal runs out. She isn't good enough to run the risk of her poisoning the locker room even if you get the initial bump of people marking out for the former big star from the other place defecting to NXT.

I see her future as bouncing around the indies and making an absolute tit of herself with diva behavior because she thinks they need her more than she needs then when it is in fact the other way around.

Ohhh, those things. Yeah, the first one when Rey came out was awkwardly placed tbh. Otherwise, I don't mind them. It's a nice little breaktime to go smoke a joint. At least during matches, when they do the black flicker, I can see the guys doing their rest spots which is fun.

seems like Sami vs KO is going to be a match heading into Mania, makes sense with KO turning heel and probably attacking Sami after he loses to Cody at the Rumble

I think some of Russo's work in TNA is a bit underrated too. A lot of it was stupid and trashy, but it was entertaining.

I feel like his best stuff is this Jerry Springeresque trashy stuff that's just a little retarded. When he's left to his own devices like in WCW, it goes beyond a little retarded and gets hard to watch.

GCW's PPV at the ECW arena was a complete bust yet again? Can't say I am shocked at all. It's amazing how they failed to reflect upon what caused the first to be a dud. It's name alone that is keeping them afloat, much like CZW for a number of years. However a great deal of the core roster, if you'd call it that, surely isn't getting hired elsewhere anytime soon until one by one they are forced to retire. Can't wait to see Allie Katch being forced into a commentary role and dead-end podcaster.

yeah it's a good joke but iirc Russo was pretty well-known for going out of his way in WCW to try to get a lot more of the card doing stuff, even if "stuff" ended up Russo things
