He just pardoned 1500 people, and you're still crying and puking and bleeding out the wherever.
That’s a funny way to say, “he pardoned 1,500 of his most loyal supporters after forgetting about them for four years.” 1,500 people who, in the words of someone who shares your enthusiasm for Trump:
There were thousands of these Jan 6 Political Hostages. From sheer weight of numbers, you're going to have some who lost family members while in jail, whose wives left them, who lost houses, who missed their kids graduating or getting married. They all lost their careers.
And, of course, this insightful post:
While it is still relevant with all the pardons going on, I'd like to take a moment to remember Matthew Perna, a Trump supporter charged for a January 6th related crime and committed suicide while waiting for sentencing.
This is how Trump treats his most loyal followers - American citizens and people he himself described as “patriots”. Why did he not help them four years ago? Because he was worried he’d get impeached.
So I’m not “crying and puking and bleeding out”. I’m
baffled as to why Americans are accepting scraps from this man. What happened to the sort of anti-government sentiment seen at Waco or Ruby Ridge? That’s been inverted to the point where so-called conservatives are praising their leaders for not letting them languish longer in prison. None of those people deserved to be in jail, and now that they’re out, they should want revenge, not grovelling at the feet of the man who ditched them. Again, to quote a guy who agrees with you:
Some of those subset of people whose lives were ruined by this miscarriage of justice are going to want revenge, and they now have literally nothing left to lose.
That’s what someone with self-respect would want. I want Americans to have self-respect. And you should too.
Are we going to endure another 4 years of people like you throwing a tantrum every time Trump doesn't email you for advice before he makes a decision, or are you going to get in the crystal already?
I’m not saying Trump should have called me personally - why would he? I’m some working class dude who doesn’t live in America. However, people should constantly criticize politicians, keep them on their toes, and push for bigger and better reforms.
Take tranny shit for example. I am extremely happy Trump got rid of gender identity as enshrined in law. I think it’s great he is standing up for women’s sports and safe schools for minors. However, I don’t like that he cuddles up to Bruce Jenner. I don’t like that he’s stopping with kids and not banning these surgeries wholesale. Is that me pissing and crying and bleeding out? Or is that me expecting more out of elected representatives? Because I think my position is what Americans should strive for because that’s what is best for them (as such policies would benefit any society).
My question is why people like you have such low standards? Trump does a few good things and you’re satisfied. But you guys have a genuine red wave, you could be pushing for so much more. But, you know, that would require scrutinizing the pseudo-daddy Trump has become to many of these people.
