I watched the few minutes if what he said. In fairness to Aaron, he does actually keep his mouth shut about his own case. It sounds like the can is kicked down the road again. He said he feels good about it. No clues on evidence disclosed or what discussions they have.

Contrast Nick's settlement conference with Aaron's. At Nick's, the prosecutor is giving the plea deal, then scheduling another to let Balldo think about it. The Aaron situation seems more like some administrative status update and a box ticking exercise.

If the prosecutor had slamming evidence for the felony I'm guessing Aaron wouldn't be so chill, but guess is all we can do. What it seems is that Aaron's settlement conferences aren't actually settlement conferences. No way Aaron has the coin to fight a slam dunk case against him in court. He would take a deal if offered, so for whatever reason it appears one hasn't been offered yet.

Isn’t Aaron hoping for the whole thing to be dismissed based on Nick having hacked his email and viewed communications with his lawyer?
Presumably that case isn’t proceeding as quickly as hoped, or hasn’t made it to being a case yet, so they ask to keep waiting.

They bragged about having access to Aaron's accounts, his emails, and search history.

He is a moron but it would be still a crime against the public. You want to punish antisocial behavior, you cant undo the crime because the primary victim is retarded.

Aaron Imholte's case 73-CR-24-6910 has been updated.

While at the last settlement conference Aaron won a delay with a second one being scheduled for yesterday, Aaron's gambit to claim to be a victim of Nick Rekieta appears to have FAILED and Aaron additionally must have rejected any plea deal which was on offer.

That is because the case is now set for a two-day jury trial in May, with a pre-trial motion hearing the previous month.

TBH, I fully agree with the decision to not accept a plea.
They need to get an entire jury to agree that sending a single picture to a friend who subsequently deleted the image counts as "revenge porn".

I don't see that happening.
Sharing a single image with one other person is not the type of behavior this law is supposed to punish.

This is a feud between two complete and total faggots. It's the equivalent of two trailer park residents screaming from their respective porches at each other and each reporting the other for drug use to the cops. Wait until one puts the other in the hospital. There are criminals out there harming decent people and tax payer money as well as investigator's time should not be wasted on these two.
