I don't know if he is a Farmer, but his editor definitely is. He frequently uses .pngs made by people on this thread for thumbnails.

I'd guess his editor quickly sent him those news in a chat group, but who knows?

This is the relevant section of the law:

When a defendant has been convicted of a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor, the court may, and when the defendant has been convicted of a felony, the court shall, before sentence is imposed, cause a presentence investigation and written report to be made to the court concerning the defendant's individual characteristics, circumstances, needs, potentialities, criminal record and social history, the circumstances of the offense and the harm caused by it to others and to the community. At the request of the prosecutor in a gross misdemeanor case, the court shall order that a presentence investigation and report be prepared. The investigation shall be made by a probation officer of the court, if there is one; otherwise it shall be made by the commissioner of corrections.

It really can't be understated how big of a deal this is considering we're talking about Nick here. If it were anybody else, it wouldn't be as big a deal.

On January 24th, 2025, Nick kneeled before the government. Something he swore he never do, and castigated others for telling him to do despite he did the same thing for many of his clients.

Completely innocent and warrant invalid, my ass.

I know everybody is saying that Nick has learned nothing from this, and while I agree, there is one thing I hope he learned and he might have. The start of him getting caught was people reporting that his children were in dirty clothes and hungry, so logic would suggest that an easier way to not get caught again is make sure his children aren't in dirty clothes and aren't hungry. One can only hope that he will be able to take breaks from his coke and whiskey benders to do the bare minimum as a parent. Not for his children of course, but so he can make sure it's harder to get caught again.

I think Nick would draw a different conclusion. That the actual problem was that he allowed outsiders contact with his family. In particular incel prude outsiders with a moral compass. Nick would conclude that the solution would be lock down the family in the house as much as possible. To cut them off from things like church, Kayla's family, his own parents and pretty much anyone who might look on them with compassion.

Lockdown for everyone. More Benzos for Kayla. Bring April into the house to take care of things and give her brain rot with Galaxy gas. Problem solved.
