That reminds me of this isekai book I read called Empress. Girl wanted to be a villain so bad that she tries to do a school shooting with a katana. It doesn't exactly work (she kills no one and gets stabbed by a student) but she does end up getting isekai'd (reborn in another universe).

There's a similar concept in real life, but instead of another world, we call it "Hell", if you believe in that sort of thing.
