Will Nicholas Rekieta take the plea deal offered to him?

It really is quite a likely possibility. Small county town official getting a small sack of change for an easy decision? I smell fuckery afoot.
Realistically, it's because it's just drug use with a wealthy family. The charge involving the kid isn't nearly that big of deal either because there's a lot to suggest exposure was accidental. No other kid tested positive, most likely none of them reported physical abuse, etc. The modern approach is treating this stuff as a disease as opposed to a crime.

Are we ever going to get a cow going to prison ever again? The last one I remember going in the can was Nick Bate, and that's almost a decade old at this point.
Maybe stop wishing for it and it will happen

Remember, Rackets getting caught came as a surprise.

Stop trying to will things to happen and they do.

Rekietafags on suicide watch. He’s going to come out of this in decent shape.
I guess it depends on how you define decent. Nick's current status is desperately begging for attention on a Dabbleverse nobody's show and getting dunked on and told to go pay his mortgage by the chat. He also has to pay attention to his kids now which alone is hell for him.

While it won't and probably shouldn't happen, his thread slowing down would probably help fuel his deteriorating mental health crisis. Narcs thrive on negative attention when they can't get positive attention so the less relevant he is the more he will spiral, and he's in a much worse position to abuse drugs to numb the frustration of not getting attention.

Dude can just do YT, he’ll be fine.

Again, the only reason he wasn’t making money is he wasn’t streaming regularly.

And the stream where he comes back and goes through everything while laughing at the haters will be very funny.
I was talking about his YT career. He ovviously didn't have a real law career, not in the past 6 years anyway.

just to be clear nick cant practise law with this record right?
While the Bar could investigate him for it, disciplinary action is generally only mandatory upon entry of judgment. As nool pointed out a couple posts above, he has entered a guilty plea, but there has been no adjudication of guilt and there won't be unless he fucks up.

The plea agreement does seem to allow the judge some leeway. While the plea is accepted, not all details of the sentencing are up for grabs. It does appear to be, as the guidelines recommend, a deferred adjudication. Only something really alarming in the PSI might result in the judge using that wiggle room.

So the plea agreement itself seems to be in force, but the totality of the settlement terms still hasn't been resolved and is up to Judge SJW.

The hell are you talking about? Even when he did stream he was making like $40 a night sometimes. His schizo drunk rants aren't going to make any kind of living. It will be hobby income at best. He will need to almost fully rely on his family's money.

Are you really still sweeping for him?

yes, streaming court cases he hates doing with no drugs or booze to lean on. as for "fine"...he looked like the crypt keeper last stream. the party is over, with his used up middle age wife, trapped in the middle of nowhere minnesota, with absolutely no agency of his own.

How much did he make on the last stream? It was boring as shit, but it wasn’t embarrassingly bad and it was current event related for once.

My hope would be that he is "free" for a week, and then gets pulled over for an expired plate (again) and he just has a brick of cocaine hanging out in his passenger seat.
That isn't a very nice way to describe April, bro...she's more than a brick of cocaine, she's a WOMAN

This is the important part, I think:

View attachment 6899715

I have been told by my attorney and understand:
a. That my attorney discussed this case with one of the prosecuting attorneys and that my attorney and the prosecuting attorney agreed that if I entered a plea of guilty, the prosecutor will do the following: (Give substance of the agreement)

  • Plead guilty to amended charge of drug possession in the third degree
  • Statutory stay of adjudication pursuant to Minn. Stat. §152.18
  • Remaining terms of the sentence at Court’s discretion
  • State drops all other charges.
  • State dismisses 34-CR-24-342 against Kayla Rekieta and case against April Imholte
I almost respect Nick less for taking the deal. He spoke up and down about how this was a set up from a kangaroo court and he was innocent. He is also a Libertarian and Libertarians preach against taking plea deals as a matter of principle.

Kiwi Farms fucking lost. Rekieta got the women off and gets a slap on the wrist. This guy was lolcow of the year? Seriously?
We didn’t lose, Nick is still fucked. He still has a lolsuit, and those kids are not falling off CPS radar ever. Nick’s legal and financial woes are only beginning, and it only goes down hill from here. He still has to pay his defense attorney, Rendazza, and he has seven mouths to (not) feed.

The money train is permanently derailed, the tracks are fucked, and no one has the money to stop the crude from leaking.
