General Wrestling Discussion

Maybe it's the laser cabbage, but I could not help but REALLY notice every tiny fucking inhale Cody took during that "if you could look Kevin in the eyes right now" segment. I want to see a supercut of every Cody inhale. Someone did one on youtube for Darby Allin and it was hilarious.

Someone paid her for it...allegedly...might not be her.
Shitzi. You're thinking of Shitzi Blackheart.

Meh, he doesn't really bitch about it, he just points out that he earned it and is doing better now. Good on him, I suppose.

"He's just mad because he never got a 5 star from Dave Meltzer!"
Yeah he handled it pretty legit. Just says it reminds him of a past time his life sucked, says there's hope, and thanks his fans.
Like it's implied he doesn't like it but he's not coming off as "offended".

New update from IWC twitter war. Ibou claimed Britt Baker reached out and people exposing him got her to reply claiming she never did and he hid her reply. I'm at the pub now will be following. Depending on if it's good can post bullet points when I get back.

What should I watch to get back into wrestling? I tried watching Jim Cornette, and I didn't really like him. Apparently, he's also a big-time TDS and Hulk Hogan derangement syndrome haver. Are there any good shows to watch to catch up on wrestling stuff?
Deadlock is funny shit, but they review past wrestling shows. I usually just watch the recaps wwe puts on youtube here and there and that gives me a good idea whats going on.

I'm not a big Joe Rogan listener I usually tune out in the first 30 minutes, so it's high praise when I say Kurt Angle's episode was fascinating for the whole runtime I had no idea the body could take so many painkillers without OD'ing. The guy is brave to air his laundry and I think he's already saved some lives.
I like The Undertaker's Podcast, dude was in the business for 30+ years so he's got a lot of stories from the New Generation to modern times. He's still arguably loyal to a fault to Vince you're not getting gossip. It's just a fun podcast with good guests, the Trump episode is hilarious because The President of the United States just decides to interview Taker and ask the most basic wrestling fan questions.

WWE Vault on Youtube is amazing now, it's just full matches of 90s and 2000s wrestling. The Steve Austin Broken Skull Sessions are all there the Bret Hart episode is great. In general WWE is doing a great job getting their legends together and talking about the best matches it's great hearing Mick Foley and Taker discuss the Hell in the Cell.
Beyond that Maven Huffman has been deservedly raking big youtube views because he makes clickbaity titles and actually explains his personal experiences well. If you're interested in books Bret Hart's autobiography and Mick Foley's first book are the classics.

I would recommend Wrestling Bios. He puts out some good content, especially his "Reliving the war" series if you want a breakdown of the monday night war era of wrestling. Some of jokes and running gags can be cringe and he can be a bit of a mark sometimes but all in all I think he's worth checking out.

Skye Blue cheating is the only rumour I really buy given how she got her job and her rise in the industry partly tied to who she was with at the time. That shit happens on the indies often, I ain't gotta question it. Trying to pull that multiple times in AEW? Yeah. She's gonna end up like Lita. Alone, looking at all the men she bailed on happily married with other co-workers.
